Sometimes, this hits my lumbar just right. Other times, it is just uncomfortable and awkward. I thought I would get a deeper stretch than your typical foam roller but something about this design prevents me from getting into a nice deep stretch. Also it's not very useful for much else besides spinal stretches. I would definitely try other foam rollers before this one. That said it is quite sturdy and well constructed. The tube itself is actually round and the nubs do make a big difference.

Using this for 5 minutes a day helps keep back stretched out. Design makes it better than a normal foam roller.

I get muscle spasms in my back. I use this to stretch my back and it works great!

It does the job but it isn’t for a beginner. It hits deep in the muscle ! It is very sturdy and easy to use . After the first few times it feels a lot better .

I get 4-8 cracks every time I use it. Great for stretching too
