Strong but heavy
Great binoculars, but MUST be used with a tripod as the weight makes it near impossible to hold steady. Once steady they’re a proper treat to use

Superb bins; bright and clear.
Superb. They pick out all the detail on the Moon that the photos in my Moongazing for Idiots book show. If you're built like the proverbial, they can be used without a tripod for scenic views, yachts and ships etc, but even for a hefty unit like myself, I'm happy giving my arms a rest every now and then, and when I do hold them up I find it useful to tuck my arms in so that my elbows are resting on my torso to create a quasi support frame. Most people I'm sure would be more comfortable with a tripod, especially for astronomy - I use a Hama Star 63, available from all good Amazon outlets near you. Handheld for astronomy with these is a complete no-no - Jupiter simply refuses to stay put and be observed. Easily focusable, and the tripod mount can be adjusted laterally to get a good balance before tightening everything up.

Great piece of kit
4* purely because I had to glue the fixed eye piece back on. I will be getting the bracket to attach phone to the Len’s ASAP. Tripod is almost essential for long distance as the 2.5kg get heavy after a few mins of viewing. Great piece of kit for the value

Good optics, high powered, very big and heavy.
Good optics. Good magnification. Good for astronomy. Can be used for bird watching in the garden but will not focus on objects closer than 20 meters. They are huge and quite heavy and hence not suited to carrying on a country walk.

Great Binoculars.
I bought these as a gift for my husband who has a telescope but it is rather bulky. These are a great spec and are large. He says that a tripod is useful when using them. He may need other accessories to locate stars, etc but is waiting until he has got used to them before deciding. Absolutely superb item.

Celestron SkyMaster Pro 20x80
Very clear views of the moon and also able to see Jupiter and it's four moons. They can be used without tripod but you need a very steady had. Bought a tripod to mount them on and also the celestron finderscope. Once mounted viewing is nice and stable. The binoculars are very large but no too heavy. Views are crystal clear once the diopters are set up then dial in the focus wheel. Definitely a good purchase.

Powerful binoculars
Bit heavy but perfectly stable on a tripod. Large objective lenses give a great field of view.

SKYMASTER PRO 20X80

Impressive heft and performance for the money
Impressive size and heft... Keep that in mind! These are well suited to stargazing on a tripod and quick daytime pick up and quick look at terrestrial objects. You're not going hiking with these unless you want a serious workout! The image in the eyepieces, once tuned to your eyes (set up the diopter and interpupillary distance) the image of Venus was a clear crescent and the moon gained depth and amazing detail! One note - I found I had to push the focus past a 'block' on the threads to get to infinity(ish) to get Venus into focus, but once done, it focuses smoothly back out. Protection for the unit is OK - eyecup and lense caps are very good. The case is a soft bag as pictured and will only protect against scuffs. You must remain vigilant against bumps even in the bag - a hard case would have been preferred, but would have certainly jumped the price up... I would buy these again.
