This DVD gave me everything I was looking for. Not just how to get a likeness but everything from how to pose, lighting, colours and value to edges and backgrounds. I spent a lot more on a real workshop and and this is better value.If you want to do portraits in pastel buy this, or any other of Alain's DVDs.
