Three of the plugs work fine, but one of the screws in the fourth one cannot be undone, so renders the plug useless, because it can't be attached to the speaker cable. Fortunately I had an old pair of banana plugs, so took the centre from one of those to replace the faulty one in the set just purchased. I don't want to have to return them all and lose functionality whilst waiting for a replacement.

I thought I'd upgrade my centre channel and bought these to compliment some decent speaker cables. These plugs look great and are very well made. Just be careful about the cable you use. I bought some QED XT40 speaker cable which are very thick. Upon stripping the ends I had to cut the inner insulating core to make the exposed copper fit the plugs. Even then, the screws jut out slightly which makes it difficult for the metal cover of the plugs to cover them. Just about managed it! Can't attribute better sound quality to these - that's probably in most part down to the speaker and cable.

Not a lot you can say really they were reasonably priced and they work fine with my amp and speakers. They have had a neutral effect on the sound so that is good, I was using bare wires but the plugs are much more convenient for disconnecting for dusting under units etc. The packaging was minimal, just a small cellophane bag, but I guess if this keeps the price down I should not complain!

I used thes for bi wiring make sure the both screws in each one is tight you'll have no problems my cable is top hi fi heavy gauge speaker cable although smaller bore than the ixos brand replaced perfect & a good solid push fit well please so I recommend.

These set of four high quality gold plated banana plugs arrived quickly.i soon had them wired up and connected securely to my loudspeakers, using a high quality heavy gauge speaker cable (see photo insert).And the sound quality is phenomenal,Both bass & treble tone are crystal clear and solid punchy bass sound.There is a significant difference in sound now,both with music and movie soundtracks. I highly recommend this product and the seller.

These are good value for money and work well with my quite heavy gauge speaker wire. They are a good tight fit in the speaker sockets. The plating is good quality and I cannot imagine there is any signal attenuation audible to a human being.

I would have given these a 5 star rating but one of them was damaged when received but I could not be bothered sending them back. Fixed myself. Apart from that they are very good quality.

These are actually Nakamichi plugs so have a good heritage. I’ve been buying hifi and accessories now for over 30 years and these are as good as any I have ever purchased. Easy to put together. Good fit into the socket and they look nice as well although that isn’t important. Great item
