Worth it
It was easy to install and held up very well. Took it on a trip to the mountains and didnt have any issues, didnt wobble or make any noise in our 9 hour drive. Only issue I had, of my own making, I went over a large bump too fast and the straps fell off. The bag was waterproof and resilient. Went through rain and snow, everything stayed dry.

Best luggage carrier!
Great product! Bought for 15 hour trip to Detroit, worked great! We had room to carry all sour luggage for 4 people. The waterproof bag worked wonderful. No issues with rain getting inside. Great purchase!

Nice, Large Size! Nice Large Bag! Folds Easily!
I like this thing more than I expected. It's about as sturdy as you'd want it to be, because any more and it would be too heavy to move around and install/remove, any less and it would be too light duty. The instructions were worthless, but it was easy to assemble. There is some spring/bolt thingy that I have NO idea how it could possibly have a function, but it seemed to be an extra anyway, because everything else necessary to put it together and install was there. It doesn't come with a hitch pin, though, just a bolt that you have to use tools to tighten. So if you want it to be a bit easier to install, buy a separate hitch pin. To make it less wobbly, it has this bent plate that tightens against the bottom of your receiver tube, and that DOES require an 18mm wrench to tighten/loosen every time you install/remove this cargo carrier, so just know that if you want to remove it when you get to your location, take an 18mm wrench with you. You could probably drive without the tension plate installed, but it will definitely wiggle around more.I love that the gate sides fold up so it's as flat as possible when storing. The bag is quite large. It fills the entire thing, plus sticks out the top about a foot. I easily put 6 large sleeping bags, 4 thick "Therma-Rest" style sleeping pads, two cots, 3 adult pairs of boots, and a small backpack, and I had still had some room at the top where I could have put more small items. With our 2015 Toyota Highlander, you can still open the rear lift hatch with the cargo carrier installed. If it's super overloaded, the door might hit the cargo you loaded unless you keep it to the backside, but with a medium load it's not a problem. However, my friend's Yukon could NOT open the rear lift hatch with the carrier installed, let alone with cargo, so it depends on your vehicle's shape, I guess. We also own a rooftop cargo carrier. This has been so much easier to install, load, and use than the rooftop carrier, and as an added bonus, it doesn't seem to affect gas mileage at all. And double bonus, the hard-shell rooftop carrier is limited to what fits with it still being able to close. This hitch carrier can be loaded as much as you can strap onto it, so if you need just a bit more room and have enough straps or rope, knock yourself out.In conclusion, yes, this thing was GREAT for the price. I love it.

Great investment
Purchased this for a recent move since I got rid of my truck. Now that I drive an SUV, we were missing some of the storage space and since we were moving to another state, we need a little more storage space. It is fairly easy to build, attach, and operate. The instructions are in broken English transliterated from Chinese, but still could figure it out. I rated it 4 stars isn't because it is missing one of the side wall latches, which I was able to improvise with a bungee cable. The storage bag is waterproof, which was tested by the rain during our move, and holds 3 big suitcases comfortably. We used a different lock from the cheap combination lock provided and it's no problem to use your own padlock on the zipper.Attachment to your tow hitch is pretty easy, but no matter how much I tried, I could not get it to be level and looking at it from behind while both empty or full, it was lower on one side.In summary, this made it possible to bring everything we needed to bring and couldn't pack away in the moving truck with us during our interstate move with very little difficulty or concern. Looking forward to using it in future adventures such as camping and hunting trips.

Great hitch carrier
Works very well. Didn't want to have the carrier on the roof, so we went with hitch trailer. Only negative was some rust showed up after a while on the grid base. Can of rustoleum took care of that.

Great Cargo carrier for intermittent use!
Very Room, waterproof as described. Would recommend a hitch stabilizer to minimize rattling. Easy to install even for a 60 year old lady๐ช๐ผ. It is a little heavy but not horrible

Rust after a week
Sturdy but it started rusting after a week.Installation was a bit confusing because there were plenty of extra parts but it did the job. Probably wont recommend it for rainy state.

Totally Worth The Cost - Highly Recommend!!!
After nearly 15k miles of non-stop travelling all over the US & Canada this past summer, through all kinds of weather & climates, this fellah held up great, with the only issues being a minor/non-critical broken weld & a little bit of surface rust at some friction/hinge points; the waterproof ability of the bag was my number one concern and I'm happy to say that despite what I threw at it, not one single leak; very smart to have a generous fold-over "lip" over the zipper seam, material was very similar in quality to my Ortlieb waterproof stuff. On that note, the design and included items indicate that they did their due diligence in taking note of what customers want to include or improve when putting this bundle together; the carrier assembly hardware was even decent stuff!A very, very few negatives: the weld on one side of the steel "stopper", placed to prevent a folded up carrier from overextending/making contact with the vehicle rear/tailgate, broke on one side, BUT I will concede a little rough, back country driving where I only seemed to see Jeeps and lifted 4x4s may have occurred more than once during those nearly 20k miles - I was driving a stock/std '06 Express 1500 w/ all terrain tires, this cargo carrier on its back, and hope & self-manipulation ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ I simply bent the stopper back down & threw some JB Weld on it, no further issues; yeeaaah, speaking of, I bent the absurdly long anti-rattle device bolts and will take 90% of the blame on that ๐. There was also some surface rust that appeared within a week or two after I bought it, but didn't seem to get worse, looks the same today. Last, although a lot of thought/research went into what to include for accessories, the quality of the materials on some of those accessories were so bad, I laughed hysterically as I tossed them...except for the lock...just something poetic about "securing" a bag that can easily be cut with a dollar store-cheap lock ๐Bottom line...at the bottom (I'll be here all week, don't forget to tip your waitress) ๐๐: This cargo carrier costs double of other hitch carrier racks, but the additional height, the quality heavy duty steel tubing which I forgot to mention, the good hardware, the design features, the beast of a quality/leak-proof bag, coupled with how durable it was through my brutal and unorthodox traveling this summer, made this worth every...single...penny (just held myself back from using all caps, you're welcome!) to make my epic trip a lot more comfortable!
