I use these for side jobs. When you see chew marks on the side of garage door. Just clean the rubber strip and slap these babies on. Of course your garage door weather strip needs to be ok too. But if you do this and seal up garage for trim. Your garage should be mice free. Pro tip, look at utility lines. Ac, cables, hose bibs, gas lines for entry points too

Expensive, but is easy to apply and is so far keeping those little bastards out of my garage.

Not sure these are worth the effort, because they are pretty thin and feel flimsy, but time will tell if they hold up...

I believe this product would work well had it been wider. I think I can possibly cut the strips in half and then double up the pieces. Just wish I’d read more closely.

Way too much over price of this cheap metals. You can use any tin foil to do it. The most important part of this review is if you bought this like I did. You better install it outside of the weather strip (facing garage door), instead of inside of it. In this way when garage door come down with bottom of door seal will not rub against this. If not , it will give you a gap between the weather-strip and garage door. Cold air may come in.

It is a good product for what it does. I had a rat chewing at the seal around my garage door. I used it to reinforce the seal after I replaced it and I haven’t had an issue since.It is a thin piece of flexible metal that stops the rats and mice chewing through the rubber weather seal. It is not a barrier device or an obstacle or anything else someone may be looking for. Your seal has to reach the ground and there can’t be any gaps that a mouse could crawl through. If there are, then this isn’t what you are looking for.

Love the idea of this product; however, the first set I purchased, one of the shields did not adhere like the other shield. However, I was sent out a new set which worked much better. My only critique is the directions are NOT clear. The company's video should have shown the actual product being installed. The current "cartoon" video leaves a lot of questions re: the installation process. Just a suggestion.

Totally my opinion… this consists of two 1 inch strips that are roughly 6” long. Maybe I didn’t read the description well. I think that’s a rip off for the price.

What an absolutely terrible product. Do NOT waste your money!! These are smaller than the size of a standard ruler and are flimsy and paper thin. Seriously....heavy duty tin foil is higher quality than these "metal" strips. The adhesion is very poor and didn't stick even with a clean surface. Overall really disappointing product and at the price, a down right rip off.

It's a basic fix. A strip of thin metal with an adhesive on one side. Not worth 40ish dollars. I applied it in cold weather and it stayed on three spots, but the fourth weather strip was sort of bent in and the garage door keep peeling the strip off. finally I applied a heavy duty epoxy adhesive and it stopped getting pulled off. Could have done the whole thing myself with some rodent proof strips and my epoxy adhesive.

the rats went under and over them. I cleaned the garage door gasket with iso then stuck these on. Anyone the rats literally ripped them off by forcing their way under the strip. The other one the rats got hold of the top and pulled the strip down.A complete waste of money that barely slowed the vermin down.

Good product and works as designed but is quite pricey for what they are. Would like to see the product fold over vs sticking to the one side only.

It is totally over priced, you can use something similar from your home I didn’t even use it.
