A good length, well worth the money!

Long cable works great and tiny to storage, easy winding and to use it's east and it's build strong, for outdoor but not when rains. Indoor. Outdoor if dry.

It's okay for a short term use, couldn't see this lasting for a long period. However this isn't used daily, mainly in summer when cutting grass. Material is cheap plastic but for the price you can't complain. Works well, came on time, cheap price. I would buy for short term use only.

UPDATE: This isn't really an update (original review below).. I'm just curious to see my original photos that I took for my review (4 years ago) now being used by Amazon (and current seller JTK EMPORIUM LTD) for the main product images. Hmm. Interesting.We have a couple of long extension cable reels that are in the 20 and 30 meter range. However, it is never advisable to use extension reels with the majority of the cable still wound (especially if you're using it for a distance of only a couple of meters and have 25m+ still on the reel!)....So, we were way overdue to get a shorter and practical (and more compact) cable reel.This PIFCO Double socket 5m reel was purchased from [Motionperformance - Waxacar] and arrived within 3 days from order being placed.And at £6.85, represents fantastic value.It's an all plastic unit. The front is grey and green. A little more of a pale green rather than the leafy green shown on Amazon pictures. But the main body is black (as is the cable and plug).The front has two 3-pin sockets and a red button safety cut-out reset switch. A rotating black 'finger winder' is also situated on the perimeter.On the rear, there is a double sided cut-out hand grip, which makes the task of holding onto the unit as you pull out the cable, or reel it back in, much easier (although the moulded finger areas are really only suitable for small fingers - but not an issue in functionality). Plus 3 moulded plastic feet which are part of the body of the unit (i.e not stuck on or screwed on and therefore won't fall off).Please disregard the Package or product dimensions listed under the item description.ACTUAL Dimensions of the cable reel are:Overall diameter: 174mmOverall height : 80mm (100mm with winder knob)5 star recommendation.

Does what it says on the tin basically, only used it for the lawnmower so far, not a very long cord but was ample for my needs.
