Expensive but the difference between this and cheaper paper is vast. The ability to layer without degrading the surface means that pigments remain vibrant. There is little warping and the textured surface enables lovely bleeds and some nice dry brush effects, reducing the time to paint foliage, trees and water.

Not the cheapest water colour paper but a classic for a reason. Great effects can be achieved with such a quality paper.

My wife uses these pads all the time. They are excellent for watercolour.

Excellent water colour paper. More a card than paper.

Quality paper. Absorbs colours beautifully with multiple washes. Worth the extra money for you to produce artwork of quality.

Nothing to dislike. I enjoy using this paper. It has a robust surface that takes a lot washes without becoming ‘worn’.

This is the first time I’ve tried this paper, after several types of 100% cotton watercolor papers. Working on it is an amazing experience! The paint behaves on it the way “you’ve been searching for before”. 😊 The claim is right, that the water bends it in a limited way. This is very important for me.The problem for me not the price itself (it worth), but the shipping fee and the tax, what nearly doubles the total price…. Without that I would order more sooner…😒

I have tried all kind of watercolour papers... I am not an expert but I knew paper is very important...and it is Arches is one of top 3...is perfect
