Old pump went out after 4 years.
My old pump for my dog water bowl went out after 4 years. I’ll admit it was my fault I ran it low on water one to many times. But the reason I needed a power cord is because my old one the plastic casing broke off while I was pulling it out of the wall. Exposing the bare metal insides of everything inside the plug. HUGE SHOCK/FIRE HAZARD. I’m assuming this was just a one time fluke and it won’t happen again. Guess I’ll find out in another 4 years. But 4 years later my dogs still love are pet mate water bowl.

Motor replacement is excellent
Thankfully I found just the motor replacement for my PetMate water fountain. The cats are happy to have a running water fountain once again.

Consistency is not the hobgoblin of simple minds
I wish I could replace my pump with the exact same one which I got with the original fountain. Even from the same company, it is not the same. This pump filters differently and much more of my dog's long hair gets caught in it. It is also louder than the old one. This one had suction cups on the bottom, why ?

Failed after 6 months
these are simple transformers and this one failed 6 months after purchase. small dollars, no warranty, buyer beware
