Great size for cutting to need, works well for microgreens, hold moisture without pooling of promoting fungus. Has initial out of the package natural strong Jute smell (think of burlap sack or jute twine) but quickly looses odor after soak and rinse and has no lasting smell while growing. Pleased with purchase, would recommend.

These work well but they do smell after a week or so.I get lots of good growth in them and they're easy to cut to size.

I did not have the same experience as some reviewers. My product arrived and is not plastic, it’s definitely jute. I did a burn test to be sure. I did not experience the gasoline/ chemical odor. Smelled like jute. I cut it to fit my tray with no issues and then thoroughly wet it. Sprinkled seeds. It’s as simple as it sounds and does what it says it will do. I like that it’s compostable. It’s the right thickness for microgreens.

Works great! Easy use and seeds sprout well.

I have been doing hydroponic microgreens using soil. This is easier and cleaner.

Performed as advertised. No complaints . Clean and simple to use.

These are synthetic with a petrol odor. They melt with fire, and can barely be cut with Fiskars.

Appears to be easier to clean and reuse versus coco coir. Have my first growth using the mat. Seems to be a slight odor but not sure yet

Smells bad out of the bag, dries out too quickly. Gets moldy at root system even with peroxide added to water. Using bootstrap farmer trays IYKYK. Don't recommend. Use soil.
