So, I had a few disposable tape dispensers getting down to empty, and I thought "What a waste to send the empty dispensers to the landfill. I could refill them." Then I saw the listing for this 16-pack. The rolls fit into the disposable cases, and would also fit the brick-sized metal desk dispensers of the last half century. I did find that one dispenser with plastic teeth had problems cutting the thicker replacement tape. The tape is sturdy. The other two dispensers I had nearby have metal teeth inserted into the plastic. The metal teeth cut the new tape with no problems. I tried taking a half-used roll of store-brand tape out of another dispenser with metal teeth, and swapping it into the dispenser with plastic teeth. The plastic teeth wouldn't cut that, either. The original tape in that dispenser must have been pretty thin.

My kids go through lots of tape for craft projects and this is perfect. Not the best quality but for the price it can't be beat!

Horrible, I used these as refills for a reusable heavy duty scotch tape dispenser, and this tape does not tear easily, I'd have to pull and try to tear the tape 3 or more times and use a lot of force for it to finally tear. It's very thin, horrible quality. You get what you pay for. I broke down and purchased scotch tape refills for $20, there's no comparison. Take my advice: Do not buy this tape, absolutely unusable, buy the name brand, more expensive kind.

This is kinda funny. The Good - 1. It seems like strong tape. It's cellophane right? So you cant really tear it by hand. You have to pull it until it snaps. (Use a tape dispenser with a metal blade for best results!) 2. It adheres fairly well. This includes adhering to other tape and itself. The Bad - 1. My tape "log" was smooshed up pretty good. All the tape rolls in it are now an odd, non-circular, shape. This is kinda petty, but it does create a bit of an annoyance when trying to use it with a tape dispenser. 2. Getting the tape started wasn't easy (see above "good" comment about adherence). Took me few tries but I finally wrangled off the 1st layer and stretch-popped it to get it started (like the neanderthals of old). Overall - Really not bad. Could have been a perfect item for the perfect price if it didn't get too hot and smooshed up. But otherwise good job. Made me laugh. And its just cheap enough to not return it (it is just tape after all).

This is very strong tape!

It sticks ok and is fairly clear. It is a very cheap type of scotch tape. The worse part is the smell. I’ve never had tape that had a smell like this. It’s really hard to describe. It’s a combination of bug spray and some kind of chemical. I’ve actually gagged using it.
