Bought this while travelling to UK for studies.Has held up in the winter very well.If you are thinking of buying a coat online, this definitely is a good option

Winter is coming.....I ordered this coat on 26 November - the delivery date was set to 09 December. Y'all saw the news.... massive storms destroyed most interior BC highways & railways - cargo ships couldn't reach Vancouver to unload - so the order was understandably delayed to 30 December. Thing is, we're selling our house and all my winter clothes are packed in storage. I got the Amazon delay notice, panicked and emailed customer service. The very next day (10 Nov) I get a DHL email confirming immediate delivery - 3 days later I'm trying it on. Now that's a Christmas miracle. No wait - it was marked down $40+ for black Friday to $95 (go figure) what a blessing!This coat was made in Ohio (not f?&#@!% China) - reliable US manufacturing - well made sturdy material (no chemical scent) - completely blocks rain and wind - fit exact to size (I'm 5.1 slightly portly 117 lbs - so medium fits nicely) It zips to the neck and reaches almost to my knees - so most of my body is covered/protected. That said, it's light weight - dons and doffs quickly/easily. The fur piece zippers off (thank God) and that big hood will certainly keep the rain off. The satin-smooth lining is thickly padded so the coat is very warm (like toasty) and I'd rate it perfect for snow shoeing or long winter hikes. I'm really happy.Mostly this is to THANK Amazon customer service staff (and DHL) for coming through, now I have a great winter coat and grateful indeed for their kind hearts and hard work.... Ok, I read so many reviews before purchasing this coat. They were very helpful. The good reviews are not lying, this coat is great! It was delivered quickly and arrived in a cute zippered package, which was great because it was pouring rain when it was delivered. I got to use my new coat the following day in the cold weather. It is so warm! I had to walk in the wind and I felt no wind at all! It's very comfortable, not bulky like other winter coats. The velcro on the top of the hood is nice so you can adjust the hood to fit so it won't fall down too far over your face. The pockets kept my hands warm, too. The pockets are in the front of the coat, instead of on the sides, which is a little annoying but that's not a make or break component for me and I'm already getting used to that. There are snaps on the sides of the coat so if you prefer a little more leg room for some reason, you can have it. The outer cuff has two fasteners so you can adjust the fit, if needed. The inner stretchy cuff is nice, not too tight and not too loose. It allows you to tuck your gloves inside if you like. The arm length of the coat is perfect, not too short like other coats. I've used this coat outside while shoveling snow and it was great! Again, so warm! This coat is water proof, which is nice when in the snow shoveling as well as for impromptu snowball fights. I bought an XL and can wear a sweater or pull-over hoodie under it and it still fits nicely. Although, the coat is so warm that a big sweater isn't needed. I love that this coat is made from recycled materials and has no real fur on it and no real duck down in it. I hope this review is as helpful as some of the ones I read before purchasing. I totally recommend this winter coat! I absolutely love it!

Bought this coat very nice. Quality very nice also . Keeps you nice and warm. I order black, fits nice also.

I am tall and always have trouble finding a long enough coat that doesn't look to much like a full parka. This coat is just long enough to cover my behind to keep the wind from going up my back and allows you to tighten the bottom as well.The structure is nice as there are ties inside that allow you to tighten or loosen the waist band. I tend to tighten it up to give myself some shape when out but loosen them when I need to be sitting in the coat for an extended period of time.The sleeves are just long enough with a sweater like material around the wrists.The hood is large and has a tab to tighten it up closer to the coat when its not being used. The fur on the hood is not cheap looking like some can be. Unfortunately the hood is not removable.The zipper is the cheapest looking part of this coat, it is a larger plastic one and just feels like it's going to break but has yet to do so. It could be replaced if it did happen I'm sure. It does also zip up very high and covers most of your face if you were to forget a scarf ectThe coat also has buttons but I find most times I zip it up and go!The inside of the coat is alright but I wouldn't say its the warmest coat I've owned. It could use more insulation fluff to provide that extra warmth but a light hoodie/sweater would be fine if you know your going to be outside for an extended period of time.Overall a great coat for a decent price!(I am 5'9 - 160 in weight)
