I’ve been taking Solgar Vitamin B12 100 µg tablets regularly, and I’m very happy with the quality and consistency of this supplement. I bought these as my b12 levels were dropping in blood tests, even though I was taking supplements. I thought maybe there was a malabsorption issue so did some research and bought these. I can't fault this B12 and its absorbency. The supplement is tiny and has a nice flavour to it which can be taken in a few ways (under the tongue, chewed or swallowed) I can always trust Solgar for good quality products. Unfortunately, there have been links to excessive B12 and acne in some individuals online and I seem to have experienced a few new breakouts approximately a week into trying this on my forehead. (Different looking to my usual hormonal acne) I had made no other changes to skincare and have avoided my trigger foods - I can't say for 100% certain whether B12 was the cause but there is quite a lot of information online related to this so just wanted to write a warning, especially if you are already suffering from acne or find yourself suddenly breaking out.

Let me stat by saying I never usually wrote reviews but these are so good I wanted to share. For a long time I’ve suffered from insomnia, getting to sleep ok but not staying asleep, waking for up to 3 hours every night and the finally waking at least an our before my alarm. A blood test showed B12 deficiency and I took B12 supplements from Nutrition Geeks for a year with no effect. I mentioned this to a nutritionist friend who told me Solgar was the gold standard in supplements. Within 2 weeks of starting these my sleep has improved, I almost never wake during the night and sleep right up to my alarm. I love this way of taking my B12 an essential vitamin. This tiny pink kinda sweet pill dissolves under your tongue quickly. And IT WORKS!!! I’ve been taking this daily for years and my blood levels are always good at therapeutic levels. Lots of people are deficient and this is a great way to get it back up to speed. Furthermore I’ve used this company for years. Always the same in an actual glass jar too. Dr Greger thinks we need it daily for good health. He never mentions a brand. But I like this one best. Ps if you are looking for B12 supplements make sure to get the cyanocobolomine one.

Puede ser que tuviera baja la vitamina B12 ya que no ingiero muchos productos de origen animal, me encontraba cansado y no daba con lo que era. Después de probar con varios suplementos pensé en una posible carencia de B12. Ayer hice una primera toma de 2 pastillas como dosis de choque y en menos de 24 horas ya he notado una mejoría muy significativa en todos los sentidos. En cuanto al formato, son pastillas pequeñas, se tragan bien, su sabor es neutro, no es agradable pero tampoco saben mal. Qué decir de Solgar, son garantía de calidad. Habrá que dar más tiempo y ver como evoluciona el tratamiento. Actualizaré la opinión si notase algún inconveniente a largo plazo, pero de momento contentísimo con haber dado con esto.
