I recently purchased an attar that promised to encapsulate the fresh, earthy scent of the first rain, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The allure of this attar lay in its marketing, which evoked images of rejuvenation and the nostalgic, invigorating smell of rain-soaked earth. However, my experience was quite different. Upon first application, the scent was overwhelmingly synthetic. Instead of the subtle, natural aroma of petrichor, I was greeted with a sharp, almost chemical odor that felt out of place and overpowering. As the attar settled, the expected transformation into a more nuanced, rain-like fragrance never happened. Instead, the initial harshness remained, and there were no traces of the delicate, earthy notes one would associate with the first rain. The middle notes of the attar did little to improve the experience. They lacked the depth and complexity that a good attar should have. The scent profile remained flat and uninspiring, missing the freshness and vibrancy that make the first rain so special. Longevity and sillage were also disappointing. The scent faded quickly, leaving behind a faint, nondescript smell that did not justify its premium price. It’s a shame because the concept was promising, and I was looking forward to a fragrance that would evoke such a vivid and cherished memory. In conclusion, this attar failed to deliver on its promise of capturing the essence of the first rain. It lacked authenticity and depth, resulting in a fragrance that was both underwhelming and forgettable. For those seeking the true scent of fresh rain, I would recommend exploring other options that can genuinely bring that unique aroma to life.

The smell takes time to get used to and is not excet copy of the first rate, more like wet soil or pottery. I gifted it, and my sis liked it after using it some times.

This one is not up to the mark product because it doesn’t really smell like first rain. Not long lasting and requires more volume then other perfume oil. Such type of perfume oil you can find in any local store around you.

Nothing like first rain Ok. So I already knew I should have temper my expectations cause petrichor didn't seem like something easily replicable... And I was right... So for everyone who are checking reviews to see if this actually captures the smell of earth before rain / petrichor, it doesn't.. at all... The smell is mitti and nothing else... It's not woody or rain like.. it's not something u would like to smell on ur skin or clothes... So no point in buying if taking a gamble at smelling petrichor

Worth every penny. Lasts at least 6 hrs. Highly impressed. Bought it to gift it to my uncle. He loved it!

Very mild, need time to settle, roller is not working properly. It's ok if you like the fragrance. I will not prefer to buy 2nd time.

Other are right when they say it is not UpTo the mark. Smells synthetic and oily if you are smelling kerosene. Honestly not even barely upto the mark for the promises they have floated. Had to wait 3 weeks to get hands on this and now don't want to return it cause who needs hassles. The company has straightaway scammed people for millions in name of scent of rain/first rain. ISAK as a brand has positioned itself to scam millions of fragrance enthusiasts who care about natural organic scents The likes of MD. Ayub/and other cheap attar providers are giving same synthetic product. Pathetic brand and disgusting fragrance.
