I love all Bach flower products but this one is one of my favorites.

All three remedies I ordered arrive unwrapped, tossed in a box and with the packaging damaged. This is not acceptable way of shipping for a product made of glass.

Good for motivation

Bach Flower Essences -especially Rescue Remedy-have been part of my homeopathic medicine kit for decades. I trust the brand and have experienced the relief and comfort a proper remedy can bring to challenging times. Chicory is a new flower remedy for me. I am hoping it will help me as I struggle with the frustrations and stress that are inherent in health care and social work. The past few years have added layers of complexity to everyone’s lives. If you are in a caring profession, raising children, or helping your elders navigate aging, self-care and healthy, loving detachment are essential. I know homeopathy does not resonate with everyone and it isn’t an instant fix. But each act of self-care and attention is a ritual that can help build resilience and strength allowing you to continue to show up for those in your care without expectation but with attention and love. Two little drops of flower essence helps me set my intention to bring real care and no judgement.

My partner and I have been dealing with a lot of external stress recently, so I ordered this thinking it might help us be a little more gentle with ourselves and each other. I have used bach flower remedies a few times before, when they have been recommended by my naturopath, but I don't think I've used this particular remedy before. I love that it's alcohol free, I think the previous bach remedies I used were made with alcohol, which were tolerable, but I didn't enjoy the taste. I actually like the taste of these, they're sweet but not overly so. Others have mentioned that it's a small bottle, but since a dose is only 2 drops it should last you a while and it's a convenient size to travel with or put in your purse/backpack. When we take it, I do notice a difference, as it does seem to be helping us be kinder and gentler to each other during these times of high stress.

This is a very famous, well established brand, so I was excited to try this product! Whether or not you believe in homeopathy, the power of placebo and ritual and setting intentions is definitely real. So if this helps you get there, then so be it. I like a little woo every now and again. The glycerin gives this a light, pleasant sweetness. I took a couple of drops before a work party, and I'd like to think it gave me just a little extra tolerance for the difficult people, and relieved a bit of dread. I'm going to declare that this unconditional love and care extends to one's self, because we could all stand to be a bit kinder to ourselves. It will be a nice daily ritual.
