Royal Walk Folding Travel Compact Umbrella Windproof Strong for Men & Women

An excellent umbrella! This is my second one,as I like to alternate colours. Extremely strong,a one button operation to open and close. Comes in a lovely case with the Royal Walk logo. Compact enough to fit in a bag.This umbrella is QUALITY. Well worth the money.

I got this to replace my flimsy shop umbrella that got mangled up in the wind. First impression is well made and very sturdy with quality in mind. Bigger and longer than my old umbrella but can still fit at the front pocket of my holdall. Auto open and shut at the press of a button but you will have to a pull shut to fold the umbrella and into the zipper bag. Not tested in high wind, so will update on this later. Overall, a very good umbrella that is worth it's price! 04/10/2024 update:- This is definitely the Royce Rolls of all umbrellas and here I tell you why.....Beside the description above, this umbrella is windproof and I am talking about being in British windy weather and not being in a tropical tornado! It is rust-free and I have found out for myself from my numerous forgetful moments of stuffing my sodden wet umbrella into the zipper bag and into my holdall bag at work and forget about it all all until I came to use it next time. To my amazement, no rust or stale smell at all from the umbrella. This is a must-have umbrella for all in our British climate and I am even thinking about making it a Christmas stocking filler for all my family!

Seems good quality but arrived with a deep scratch in the handle - which looks and feels like plastic or some sort of composite material and not wood. Too much hassle to return it and it's not very noticeable but there was bubble wrap taped around the handle so the scratch must have been there from before it was packed which doesn't say much for quality control. Opens automatically and quite forcefully so you need to hold on tight - also folds automatically but you still need to pull it down to collapse the length, which with such a strong mechanism isn't easy. As with all similar brollies the position of the vents makes it impossible to fold neatly (a bit more thought with the design so the vent edges aren't on the folding edges might help). Slightly heavier than stated (weighed with luggage scales as 0.5kg) but won't know if it does what it claims until it's raining and windy. Definitely too big to go in a handbag but I will keep it in a holdall I take with me most of the time anyway.

Amazing Umbrella. Love that the button not only opens it but extends it from the handle too. And really is windproof, strong wind blew it and it kept its shape perfectly, no going inside out like all other makes would have. It looks truly so expensive, classy and beautiful! I actually look forward to it raining so I get to use it. I highly recommend this Umbrella. I promise you will not regret buying it! I was unsure at first and I am so glad I went with it. A very good umbrella. I was rather disappointed when just under 4 months, the end of one of the spokes broke. However, I was very impressed by their customer support team, who without any hesitation immediate dispatched a replacement. Deserve 5 stars.

Umbrella broke within 3 months of purchase but Royal Walk were very quick and efficient in confirming and providing a replacement. Had no issues with the umbrella before it broke. It is very sturdy - a freak gust of wind caused the damage which required the replacement

Je viens de recevoir mon parapluie anti uv ( que j'appellerai ombrelle dans la couleur blanche ) par ces grosses journées de chaleur intense je dois me protéger. Je suis très très satisfaite : exelent rapport qualité prix, fine bordure que permet être vu de loin, matériel que permet l'eau de glisser rapidement, des petites ouvertures tout au tour que permettent le passage d'air, manche e baleines très solides, étui étanche et zippé...bravo !

Utmärkt paraply. Färgen är väldigt fin. Det ser gediget ut. Jag har inte provat det än, jag väntar på regnet. Jag kommer att skriva en recension när jag provat det. Det är också väldigt svårt att öppna och stänga. Det har en stark spark. Kanske är det okej tills jag vänjer mig. Ja, paraplyet är lite tungt. Jag hoppas att det kommer att vara bra för regnet. I live in the Netherlands. This means not only rains but often rain with a strong wind. Last weekend I was walking along the beach on Scheveningen and was caught by the rain with pretty strong wind. Was no problem for this product. I am amazed. This umbrella is just ideal thing for this country. Key points: - Large enough for a couple. You could wish it to be larger under the strong directional wind but .. this case demands something that will definitely not fit into small city bag. For its surface size this umbrella is really compact. - Good durability vs weight balance. - Great feature against the strong wind. Upper and lower parts of the umbrella have some space between the layers where wind can escape ... but the rain cannot. Perfect for the windy environment. - Light reflecting stripes - really nice in the environment where amount of bikes is bigger than amount of people. - Large enough handle but its mounting does not make the umbrella bulky when being carried. - Zipper on the umbrella case. Makes all operations simpler. Small 'wish it would be better' things: - I have bad sight so button that is not so visually different from the space around it... could have some different colour. But over time you stop looking at it.
