Very simple installation. Took about 20 mins.I popped some superglue on the blue end caps just to keep them in place.I only installed the short version; good enough for my 17ft V hull bass boat.Really helps with aligning the trailer. So much easier.Very well made. Very heavy & sturdy.

Superior to those hollow plastic pipes.

Seems like the material they use this will last for a long time and is well made. At least for freshwater fishing. However one of the tubes, 2 of the 3 screw holes was stripped. Was pretty easy to install. As far as clearance it looks like you can install this with the short end up or long end up. On a Voyager trailer, for my Sea Doo, short end up gives about 5" clearance while long end 7". The very limited instructions doesn't say anything about long end up but it does have screw holes in it so I am just assuming you can install it this way also. The instructions shows short end up. When summer gets here I may update my review and rating for durability and also once I contact the seller for a replacement part if I can contact them and get a response.

Backing over a hump and down to the ramp without the boat on was always hard because I could not see trailer beyond the tall and wide pickup. Also being above the water and guiding boat on is way better than before.

Well made. Easy assembly. I was leary after reading some of the other ratings. They fit right on the trailer frame without a problem. Heavy enough for my needs. Only problem is the blue caps. They left blue marks on the boat. Took them off.

I had someone else put them on, and he seemed to be able to do it relatively quickly. I use them on my trailer to help guide the boat on. I cannot attest to whether they are cheap and break easily because I put them on after the boat was already on the trailer. I just didn’t want to have to deal with the boat floating back-and-forth 40 times like I have in the past so for next year, I’m hoping I’m all set. I’ll report back if there are any major problems.
