Just flexible enough to not worry about breaking it, just rigid enough to protect your cable. It does still slightly pinch down on the cable once the door sets on top of it, so it would be tough to pull the cable through while the door was closed if you tried, but the cable isnt being crushed and there are no marks indicating damage.
