Dermfix 1000MX UV-B Lamp for Psoriasis, Vitiligo or Eczema

I had severe psoriasis and was totally exasperated with all creams etc. Nothing worked! Was so bad I was thinking of having to move abroad on my own just to be in sun. This however was a life saver, started to work straight away and now all nearnly gone! Best thing I bought!

This was brought for my daughter out of desperation while she is still waiting to see a consultant about her psoriasis relapse. She has psoriasis for ten years now and have tried every steroid cream and moisturising cream. The last time she had light therapy at the hospital this seemed to have controlled l her psoriasis. Since the treatment stopped about 8 months ago she has a relapse. So while waiting to go back to the hospital we thought we could try this. She has been using it for 4 weeks almost daily with time increased to almost 2 minutes per session. She has very light skin so she has to start with a low dosage. We can now see a noticeable difference on the affected the areas such as the neck, back, buttocks, legs, arms forehead, and the front of her torso. The affected areas are now slightly pinkish instead of the deep red colour and feels a lot smoother. Because the lamp is small it takes over an hour to cover the whole body . Also she has psoriasis on the scalp, face and around the hairline so it takes longer to complete the session. It does take time and consistent use of the lamp to see any effects on the psoriasis. We will continue to use this until she sees the consultant. I do not usually leave any long reviews but having live with someone with chronic psoriasis I hope other people with similar conditions could also benefit from this lamp. I know this will not cure the psoriasis but at least it helps my daugher to manage her skin better. Obviously keep the skin moisturised as well after the light therapy to make it more effective.

Seems to work esp for nail psorasis.

Been using for about 3 weeks & can see an improvement in the psoriasis patches on my face. I use this alone with no topical treatment & it has worked really well so far :) i will see how this goes but I would definitely recommend x
