Is this supposed to have a base?

Mine came completely open (no base), which was OK with me because I just wanted something to block the light from my Aerodgarden.

With the tent closed, will it overheat with the lights on?

The grow tent is closed to maintain humidity and the temperature will increase to a maximum of 5 degrees Celsius over the ambient temperature and will not overheat during seed starting. However, during the growth and flowering stages, the plants will be healthier with the door open and a ventilated environment maintained.
