DuraflameWall Mantel with Infrared Quartz Electric Fireplace and Crackling Sound

This heater is a wonderful addition to our motorhome living space. I can't say enough about the ambiance created by the realistic fireplace display, the cozy crackling sounds, the range of settings, and, of course, the very efficient thermostat feature on the heater. The heater works very well for our 350+ square feet, and is worry free as the heating element is situated above the fireplace display, well away from the floor and furniture. It is also pretty heavy and very stable and I have no concerns of it tipping over. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a cut-off switch if it somehow does tip over. Overall this is a great product, and I would readily recommend it to anyone.

Fireplace is nice and very comfortable. The thermostat is accurate and with a toddler running around it isn’t tippy.

Measure before you buy. I had another electric fireplace made by the same company that I was replacing. ( we really like it) Unfortunately I assumed it was the same as it looked the same in the photo and the heating output was the same. When I received it I discovered was 8 or 10 inches shorter and narrower. Very disappointing. I decided to return it but was going to have to pay $50 postage so I kept it for another room. It was my mistake so hopefully future buyers will measure first.

Purchased in February. Works great. Use in 12x24 family room. Keeps room very comfortable. Flame is very realistic looking.

It has lots of neat features like the flame control with sounds and the timer is an especially nice feature. It heats a room well but is absolutely no match for outdoor temps. I tried to use it on our patio and it was a huge fail. That isn't however what it's purported use is, so it's no fault of the heaters'.
