The light emitting portion of the lamp is pretty huge, and is packed with bright LEDs. The flexibility of the lamp hasn't let me down yet - it's not quite as easily positionable as a halogen -based model I bought 15 years ago, but that was significantly more expensive and had a serious flaw - the halogen light made the lamp extremely hot, but to point it, you had to move the lamp around with a handle that was close enough to the bulb that it got dangerously hot. With this lamp, the lamp never gets hot. It does take a bit more effort to position then lock down the lamp arm, but not annoyingly so. The light's color may be an issue for some. I was looking for this particular color, but many people prefer "warm" light, so be sure you're ordering the correct color. If you prefer light with yellowish lamp shades over the bulb, then you may not be happy with the color. I have a dsk that's difficult to attach anything to, but this clamp did a great job - truly. It feels as stable as it can be. Honestly, my biggest complaint is that someone placed a large sticker on top of the lamp that gives you the light type, the proper voltage to run it at and the number of elements that are in the light. Oh and that it was made in China. Maybe that's something their factory does, but that's a sticker that should be attached to the cord or placed underneath the device. I got it peeled off without too much effort. Very satisfied with this product - 5/5 rating. Review: Nail Tech Approved ✨ - Just bought this and already love it! I have a pretty big nail desk from IKEA, so I’ve always had to use one ring light on each side of my desk to get the perfect amount of light right at the center of my desk. A Other lamps never worked because they would never reach the center of my desk. This light not only reached the center of my desk, but it passes the center, almost reaching the other side of my desk. You can move it close and away from you, as well as up and down. Whatever works the best for you. It comes with 4 brightness settings and so far they are all super bright. I’m excited to start using it! I got the pink color and it’s kinda of like a hot pink / Barbie shade. Super cute. ## Features - BRIGHT, FOCUS-READY LIGHT: 2,200 lumens of glare-free LED illumination ensures precise visibility for office work, crafting, nail tech, or study. Do the joints rotate all the ways out? How easy this lamp can move around?** A: yes it can rotate 360, but cord will somewhat get in the way when you go past 180 degrees. Arms flex like your knee. Can't hyperextend **Q: Is the bulb daylight ,cool white yellow?** A: Your answer is in the color temperature which is listed on the product. That is how you determine the color of the light of ALL lights. 5600K-6000K is what is listed here. That is outdoor lighting. Your more indoor yellow is 3200k. **Q: Does the bottom joint stay extended? Can you extend the lamp the entire width of both arms and have it stay extended?** A: The lamp opens up straight both horizontally and vertically. It stays at whatever angle you choose. **Q: Does it come with an optional screw down base for a flat surface?** A: I don't think so. It's got a screw clamp that attaches to the side of a table or desk ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bright, stable, adaptable, WIDE desk lamp, well worth the money *by B***O on April 15, 2022* From the pictures of the product, I couldn't tell if it was going to be high quality, but I've been pleasantly surprised by everything about this lamp.
