Works but you need to know that if your doors are very tall, it is very hard to reach up. but once you get it installed, you should be able to utilize with no problem. Very simple not in any resistance simply to help you with range of motion works well for that best if used in conjunction with an actual physical therapy so you know what sort of moves to do however they do include a handy booklet with some movement recommendations.

I picked up the Vive Shoulder Pulley after my PT suggested I needed something simple to keep working on my rotator cuff at home. After just a week of 15-minute daily sessions, I noticed my range of motion improving—things like reaching overhead or putting on my seatbelt got easier.One day, I pulled a muscle after lifting boxes, and this pulley was a lifesaver: gentle pulls helped me loosen my shoulder without pain or needing a second PT visit. Works well

After two months after breaking my right humorous bone, which is the upper part of the arm, my Ortho physician said it was time to add another exercise to the mix. This little device was easy to attach to a door and each day when I use it, I can get my arm a little bit higher. It’s a very simple exercise but very useful.

Easy to install and great for stretching and helps loosen back and shoulders increasing range of motion. Great product. 👍

I bought this to follow-up on exercise recommendations from my physical therapist as I recover form a broken collar bone. The product is very nicely designed and made with quality materials and comes with a nice little storage bag. There are a number of shoulder pulley systems available but I chose this one for a couple of reason: 1. instead of a metal hook that goes over the door, it has a loop of nylon webbing with one end made thicker by coiling the end of the webbing inside the loop at that end. Both approaches work to hang the pulley on a doors, the nylon webbing approach provides for the ability to tire the pulley to a beam or other overhead anchor point. My "stretching" chair sits under an exposed beam in my family room so the loop approach allowed me to tie the whole pulley assembly to the beam with some nylon cord running through the loop, and adjust the height to be perfect for my chair. The second reason was the handles, being very nicely covered with foam, can be rolled up on the cord a bit on one end (for the "pulling" arm) so that I could get additional leverage and not "bottom out" when my pulling arm hit my leg - giving me some on-the-fly adjustability that would be harder to achieve with the "D" handles pulley systems. I'm tall, so that adjustability was important. This let's me easily increase the length of the "pull" as I recover. In the end, this pulley system is working very well for me, provides for optional mounting locations, as well as doors, and some on-the-fly micro adjustment in use.All of the material appear to be high, or at least sufficient, quality, the handles are comfortable to use, the pulley itself appears reliable and runs smoothly. I highly recommend this if you are recovering from a shoulder injury.

Had a stroke in Dec. Damaged left side and was in hospital and rehab for a month. Had months of additional home therapy. Saw this and thought it might help. Not super heavy, but similar to one at rehab. When OT saw it and how well it works, was very impresses, especially considering the price. Said she’ll remember it to recommend to future patients. My arm was starting to freeze up, and this using this made a huge improvement. Just using a few times (15 reps each time) and I went from raising my left arm from hip height to shoulder height. You just need to remind your brain that it can be done. It only took another week of stretching my arm with it, and I was raising my arm straight above my head. It works even better if you are exercising both arms at the same time. If you could use something like this, don’t wait. Especially at this price. It’s well worth trying. Good luck.

Kind of limp but does the job for me.

Received the item with its pack torn, and obviously already used as it was untidely stuffed inside the pack. Item itself, though, works as advertised.
