Asus ROG G752VS-XB72K-HID4 OC Edition G-SYNC 17.3" (i7-6820HK/1070 8G/256G SSD+1T HDD/64G RAM/BLURAY)

I brought the model with the 1070 I7-6820HK 1tb of ssd and 1tb HDD and I am absolutely over the moon it's super fast like unreal fast so I obviously brought this for gaming and to put it into perspective I played forza horizon 3 for about 10 hours with everything on Ultra and not once did I suffer the slightest drop in frames nor did it freeze it smooth all day and I was using Bluetooth controller performance wise spot on. I did however have to contact customer service when I first booted it up due to a windows error (No fault of the retailer) and they sorted it out for me in 5 minutes over the phone and away I went excellent customer service excellent laptop DEAD IMPRESSED

Good Laptop. Even with a basic model configuration(16gb...no ssd). But add a couple of ssd's in those m.2 slots and it becomes great. 1 thing that isn't said in the model description/manual. You can only upgrade 2 ram slots...the other 2 are not exposed via the easy upgrade cover on the back. So technically if you don't want to open up your laptop you can only go up to 48gb RAM

Very good laptop, you get what you pay for.A little bit slimmer than my old JZ750 with an 880m however it beats it in power. 1070 is amazing for virtual reality and all games I've tried so far run beautifully with gsync enabled on the laptop screen itself.My only complaint is with ASUS' software which is as buggy as usual, with the ROG GAMING Center seemingly forgetting options and outright refusing to apply them at times, but in the end that's just software and not a fault of the laptop.

DO NOT UPGRADE THE KEYBOARD FIRMWARE. This is done with asus live update or if u install asus adjustment tool. It will make it not type anything. Good laptop..bad keyboard...its too far in. If u look at all the keyboards they start near the edge. This one is too far in. And u need a m.2 ssd for sure.

Great computer, cooling is great and very quiet. Play games for hours without any overheating what so ever. 1060 gtx GPU is immense.

Do NOT buy this gaming laptop! There is a high chance that you will have a faulty GPU that results in the laptop restarting during gaming. It will require a PCB replacement by RMA.I raised the issue via Asus tech support and they weren't aware of the issue. They told me to reinstall the drivers and finally windows. Of course this did not fix anything.Finally I found a thread on an Asus ROG forum regarding "G752VS crashing issues". I was not alone. Many others had the same issue.Thank goodness there was a good administrator that made Asus look into it.I received my laptop 4 July 2017. It is now 4 August 2017 and I am still waiting for it to be returned from RMA.Shocking! Such an expensive product and I can't even use it. They should be either giving me another NEW notebook or reimburse me with more memory or something for my inconvenience.Extremely unhappy customer.
