Very well made, two heat settings
Purchased for our elderly cat to help make her winters more bearable. Really like the size of this heat pad (40cm squared), it’s very well made indeed, an excellent quality product. The flex attachment is secure and protected, and the mat itself is water resistant with an attractive ‘fabric’ surface. Heats up quickly. Really like the fact there’s two heat settings, and it came in a resealable ziplock storage bag (for when we don’t need to use it during summer). We’ve set it up on the bottom of our dresser, with a towel underneath and a little blanket on top. Would definitely recommend over other heat mats we’ve had in the past. Good price too! Now to see if it’s good enough for our diva cat … I’m sure the dog will love it though!!

Does the job
Works well in that it gets warm enough for the old girl, but I can’t tell the difference between the two heat settings. The low setting is perfectly hot enough. I won’t put it on high in case it actually does get hotter as it might cook the cat.

My dog thinks this is just amazing!
So I bought this for my elderly Dachshund as he gets treated like a spoiled brat! Anyway, he use to wake up through the night several times, we are never sure if he is hot or cold, so I thought let's try this. It's in his nighttime bed and 30 minutes before we go up I ask Alexa to turn both his bed and mine on, so they are both toastie warm.Fatal mistake! I quickly learned that now I have two more issues to deal with. The first is that he now sleeps on his back (he had back surgery some years ago) so I am guessing he finds this relaxing. Except this causes him to snore like a train going through the room, I mean seriously it's like sleeping with a two stroke.Secondly, from the night we installed this thing, we now can't get him up in the morning. I literally have to drag him off the bloomin thing. If I call him, he just looks at me like, what do you want hoooman? I have managed to reduce this by using an Alexa routine to turn it off at 6am, that way by 8-9am it's got cold enough for him to get up, then he comes and woof's at me to tell me it's stopped working. The build quality seems decent, the bit of cable near the dog end seems to be armored so it's pretty chew resistant as stated. This is not a big issue for our elderly dog as he does not have many teeth left and he has never been a chewer! The pad itself is decent hard wearing material I have put it under his normal bed covers to keep it clean. It has two settings high and low, I have kept his on the low setting and so far it has not caused any issues other than lazy-itus, even being on overnight.

Dog likes it
Well packed and as described. I bought the smaller one so I can fit it in my jrt bed and cover with his blanket as he is not too keen on new things. (He’s getting older and his wee stiff bones starting to show his age). Especially if it has a cable and gives out heat! He was a little reluctant at the beginning but now we can’t get him out of his bed.. so it must be good!

Size is great, timer not so
Lovely sized heat pad, but the timer is for 12 hour maximum, so my newborn kittens aren't kept constantly warm unless I remember to keep switching it back on again. 24 hour ones are much better. A higher temperature would be better too as most of the heat is lost when you use a towel on it
