Parisian Chic Look Book: What Should I wear Today?

Love this book! So many GREAT outfit combinations that you will be able to create yourself and you will suddenly start to look very cool and polished. "Model Mom" is a favourite! My husband paid me so many compliments when I wore "Before An Appointment at the Bank" - he kept asking me what has changed... my hair? make-up? No... I think it was the blue shirt but I didn't tell him that. I will admit that there are some outfits that for me personally, I wouldn't wear but you could keep the general outline... if a denim mini, I might sub for jeans but keep the rest of the outfit the same. There is something for everyone in this book and the looks are so well put together. The book is very inspiring and super fun even down to the gold front and back cover. Anyone interested in fashion or updating their looks will definitely get a lot out of this book. If the publisher is reading this... could I ask for the next book (hoping!!) to have larger sections on seasonal clothing. Also an index on where to buy the actual clothing would be so helpful as the pieces are amazing. Can't wait for the next one!

This book helps me focus on how pieces can be used for many different occasions. Excellent.

Every single outfit in this book is simple and chic and achievable . Hardly any printed items are featured apart from a summer dress, just black, white, navy and some gold. Minimal accessories are worn although there is a Chanel belt and a gorgeous black bag. It would be nice to know the name of some of the designers featured even if these items are no longer available. The photography is light hearted and fun as is the narrative. The looks could be worn by my eighteen year old daughter or by me (with the exception of the denim shorts) . My only thought (and who am I to question Ines de la Fressange?) is that black and white can sometimes make a party guest look like a waitress. This review is obviously for the book itself and the content but I have to say that I bought a second hand copy listed as "as new" so was annoyed that the previous owner had written on just about every page. I think this book would make a lovely hostess gift .

Very helpful in suggesting basic / timeless pieces that you can use for a basis of a capsule wardrobe. Very useful for someone who always feels like they don’t have anything to wear & is wanting to look more stylish & put together.

This book lets the French down. All the outfits are a slightly varied copy of each other - jeans, belt, scarf etc Nothing about French eclecticism or straying from the pack. Quite boring. Look elsewhere for fashion flare 🔥 (the Dutch are doing a great job)

Brilliant book of clothes "recipes "How to put clothes together. Never struggle with a wardrobe full of clothes and "nothing to wear" again. Really useful!

Love it 😍Couldn't wait for this book to arrive and I was not disappointed.So simple but it is perfect for those of us who have an obscene amount of clothes and still have nothing to wear!Step by step of sorting out and paring down and I love it. I refer to it all the time.
