I purchased this item to replace the digitizer screen on my 2016 Mazda MX-5. The screen had developed spider cracks over time, I believe mainly due to parking the car in the sun on a few occasions (most of the time the car is garaged). I was able to confirm through miata.net that you only need to replace the digitizer, since the spider cracks happen as a result of delamination between the plastic outer layer and glass inner layer of the digitizer screen. The digitizer provides touch screen capability. The underlying LCD screen generates the image (and had no defects). Replacing the digitizer is possible, but it takes some time and care. I found several videos how to do this for Mazda 3 cars that have the same entertainment screen as the MX-5. I completed the job (taking my time) in about 2.5 hours and the result is very good. This Ymiko digitizer seems more glossy than the OEM digitizer, which results in a brighter and more colorful screen, but also more prone to reflections. You know, I hate how car manufactures put these things in, and theres a clear defect in the design with it that causes it to crack on the inside. I have 0 control over what happens to it. Dealer wont cover it, makes you pay hundreds of dollars, or you can order a cheap replacement, install it yourself for 95% cost reduction. Just a simple youtube video to watch how its done.

Avoid. I replace screens for Mazda cars and there are problems with this sellers screen. It's slightly over sized and the screen does not set in the bezel as it should. The adhesive is like double sided tape and it will not stick the bezel. Nothing you can do to get this to work, but return and move on.

The digitizer seems to be decent enough quality. Installed fairly easily and works well. It's slightly too large for the bezel but can be squeezed into the space. The adhesive failed after a couple of days and the digitizer popped off. Resat with super glue. Will work but I'd look for a better quality version if I needed another one.

At first I was concerned on whether this would work or not on my 2016 mazda3. After I watched a video and installed this myself I didn’t think the touch screen would work nor did I care I just wanted a fresh new screen that didn’t have inner cracks. After installing it I tested touch screen just for fun and it worked!!!! I was very happy with this product for its price and its quality. Overall would get this again.

Perfect fit

We bought this last year due to some cracking in the corner of the factory screen but did not get around to replacing it. After the crack spread larger over the winter we installed it today with the help of a YouTube video and it works and looks great! Like another reviewer, my son said “I didn’t know I had a touch screen!”, which also works with the CarPlay hub installed last year. We are very happy with it.

Le produit fit parfaitement sur mon Mazda 3 2015. J’ai suivi les vidéos explicatives sur YouTube et c’est facile de le changer. Environ 1h faire le tout, nettoyage du contour de plastique inclus. Le touch de mon ancienne écran ne fonctionnait pas, maintenant oui! Une Job de 250$ au garage et 25$ si tu le fait toi-même.

Excelente refacción, aunque la primer vez me llegó rota pero la segunda llegó bien. Lo complicado fue quitar la mica original que es tipo plástico y el pegamento que era muy difícil de limpiar pero una vez limpio el marco instalar esta pieza fue súper rápido y sencillo. A diferencia de la original esta pieza es de cristal con acabado brillante no mate pero aún así no presenta ningún inconveniente con reflejos ni visibilidad. Utilice el pegamento que viene con el cristal, tenía miedo por los comentarios que decían que era malo, pero en mi caso salió muy bueno. El auto se me a quedado en el sol un par de veces sin el protector de sol y la pantalla se ha calentado muchísimo por el sol y aún así el cristal no da señales de despegarse, aún así utilizo el protector siempre que puedo. La reacción al touch es perfecta me deja interactuar sin problemas con el sistema del auto y CarPlay . El único detalle que le note es que es un poco más pequeño que el original en altura nada más, pero es cosa menor a un milímetro y la verdad no se nota, yo lo sé pero que yo la instale si no me hubiera dado cuenta
