Hubi Outdoor HUBi 10K Charging Kit available in Off - White -

I've been using my HUBi 10k for over a year now, and it's one of the best things I've ever purchased. We never go camping without it, and if you don't want to camp with an EHU (we never do) but still want to be able to power things like tablets and smartphones for the duration of your camping trip, then this works brilliantly.We've had numerous friends buy the 10k after seeing ours in action, and all are delighted.PROS• It is brilliantly easy to set up and use.• Despite constant use, our unit never dips below the half full charge mark.• Charges in cloudy conditions.• Nice long cables.• The LUMi lights are very bright and fantastic - we don't ever buy batteries or use any other kind of light or lantern when camping now.• USB ports mean we can very easily charge smartphones, speakers and our tablet when camping. No more having to worry about running out of power or sitting in the car with a phone plugged into the 12v.CONS• A carry case would make it easier to transport when camping.• The light inputs don't fit in place tightly, so if you knock the unit, then cable could possibly come unattached.• Despite having a 12v socket, all of the 12v devices we have are too powerful to work with the HUBi.

Used this to provide light and USB charging for phones and tablets whilst camping. Solar panel charged from approximately 0700 to 1930 in a UK September. Only downside is Lumi light connections could be better. I had to keep re-seating them to get them to work. That said, once I found the best location for the unit and stopped moving it around, I did not need to re-seat them again.

It works well but the light connectors on the control unit are very weak and jittery. Wall mounting of the control uni require an additional wrap-around enclosure with which costs an additional £20 and is clumsy.

I have this installed on / in my garage. It’s fixed in place and I use it to charge phones, iPads etc. It works in a pretty good range of sunny conditions (my house is south facing). Can’t complain about anything in the box! Excellent product.

We used this for 3 weeks on holiday. One week we relied on it entirely for charging our phones, running watches, kindles etc and it did the job. It is easy to use right from the box and the 2 lights that come with it are a great addition.

We already had one and wanted another. Easy to connect and great to use.

Great service from the seller. The connections for the lights are rubbish, I have to use blue track to hold them in place. The charging is slow but it copes with our cool box (just).

Used in in my wife 'she shack' work as described.
