If you're interested in the history of Reliant then get this book. I was surprised at how innovative and diverse Reliant actually we're. Another marque that will be sadly missed.

This is a well researched book on the 'plastic cars' so to speak with some never before seen photos - I have other books on this maker's products due to owning a few of the various models over the years such as three three wheelers, and a Scimitar - and I found it well written and certainly well worth the cover price.

This book simply cannot disappoint if you want to really get under the skin of Reliant and its many, varied products.I thought I knew a lot about the subject, but Elvis Payne's research has uncovered and ordered so much more of this unusual company's history. He's taken huge trouble to sort myth from fact, and consult people who were themselves part of the company's history.It also benefits from drawing on his unique collection of images and memorabilia.A terrific book packed with interest, whether you're a fan of the three-wheelers or the sports cars.

A fair few books out there regarding Reliant, some of them taking the proverbial, others more serious. Not EP's first book on the subject but in my view his best. He is particularly thorough on the work and influence of Reliant on projects for other companies showing that the company capability stretched beyond "funny three wheelers". That is not to suggest that the well known aspects are not covered well - they are. When an author is passionate about the subject, it shows and I would highly recommend
