I’m in the process of taking down an old chain link fence. I needed a tool that would not break the bank, but still get the job done to cut the metal ties holding the fence together. I even used it on a few small limbs and branches to cut down!This product certainly did the job. After only working for 15-20 minutes I accomplished a lot more than I thought I would. The cutting speed is great and the additional grinders will come in handy in the future.While the product is a little heavy, it is not unbearable and probably more light weight than a battery powered one. Definitely worth purchasing!

It worked really well! The instructions could be better, but if you’re handy, it’s easy to put together. It comes with 3 grinding wheels, 3 grinding disks, and 2 copper bushings for future use. I’m really pleased with this purchase and would recommend it. The rebar in the picture shows the results after grinding. It cuts through steel frames nicely with other blades—just make sure to keep the guard tight because the tool moves a lot with the fast-spinning blade. I bought it for a small garage project, and it exceeded my expectations. I don’t think I need a more expensive version. It’s solidly built, feels durable and safe, and should hold up through many future projects. I mainly use it for wood, and its compact size makes it easy to handle and get into tight spots that a larger circular saw can’t reach.

This works exactly as it is supposed to. I used it to cut 16 metal balusters and never had to change out the disc.

Great tool. Easy to use; not too heavy; not very expensive.BUT... the safety guard will not tighten down and stay in one place.EDIT: I was able to replace the nut that holds the safety guard in place. Didn't think it would work because it looked like the problem was the threads on the shaft of safety guard. They looked worn down to me. But the replacement nut worked, and it tightens down properly. I'm upgrading my review from 2 stars to 4. I gave it two because I think the guard should be used. I upgraded to four because I figure anybody who needs this tool probably has access to a variety of nuts in their shop or at their local hardware store. I would have given it five stars if I didn't have this problem.

Good value for a cutting wheel, made fast work of the job I bought it for. Maybe not a heavy duty pro tool but it does the job for my occasional household use just fine.

The nut that holds the blade seemed tight, but actually left a gap that caused the blade to warble. I went to my local hardware guy and found some copper lock nuts that filled the gap, bought new blade and was able to finish the project I bought it for.The tool is good value.....the blades not so much so. It xmcame with 3 blades. I was cutting corrugated aluminum the first blade lasted less then a minute before the center core broke away from the blade....the second one lasted almost a minute and cut 6" line before disintegrating...good blades cost about $10 each and these 3 blades were included with a $35 tool.It would have been a better experience if the blades weren't included.PS after getting new blades discovered the problem was blade can't be secured due to too large of a gap ...I'm going to Lowes to see if I can get a lock washer to act as a spacer ...if that doesn't work, I'll need to return it.New blades coming tomorrow and excited about finishing my project

I bought it for a small job, as it was cheaper to buy the tool and do it myself as opposed to hiring out. Worked like a charm. Withing 5 minutes I was able to cut what needed cutting without breaking the bank, or having time consuming mindless chit chat with outsourcing. Would definitely buy again if I had to, but as of right now she's cleaned up, still in great condition and back in her box awaiting the next time I need her.
