Trend Digital Depth Gauge, GAUGE/D60

Setup and use were straightforward — just switch it on, zero it, and measure. The digital display is clear and quick to read, saving time compared to manual gauges. It feels sturdy and reliable, with a solid build quality that gives confidence it’ll last for years. A great addition to any workshop — accurate, convenient, and well worth the price.

Accurate enough for my purposes and probably strong enough for the occasional use that I have for it. Feels cheap to handle and the very fine locking screw needs to be used carefully or it will easily strip the thread or plastic guide. I've read reviews for other brands with the gages arriving withe dead batteries. Not the case here as the battery is enclosed in the box but still in its blister packaging

This was a good buy and is a great addition to my toolbox. I like the accuracy and digital readout, especially if I want exact measurements. As others have mentioned, the height retaining screw is flimsy and any kind of harsh tightening could see thread stripping of the unit. As it stands, I just nip it up slightly to avoid that happening but it could have been made sturdier. The gauge is by no means robust and as such, needs to be handled with a bit of care, given it's a measuring instrument. I intend to make a small box for mine, to keep it safe and for storage. Overall though, a decent buy and recommended.

It is a little flimsy as others have said. I've got used to it and can make it work for me with no difficulty. I'm using it to adjust the fence and bits of a homemade router table and am happy with the accuracy it allows me. My only real gripe is that sometimes the lock screw moves the scale when you tighten it, not very much, and not enough to be a problem for me. I expect this to get worse over time though, as the scale is plastic and the screw is metal, so some wear is bound to affect it sooner or later. I'll certainly look for something better if and when it needs replacing. It's ok but, I expected better from Trend.

I bought this to set blade height on a table saw and router bit height on router table. It is lightweight plastic - so deduct one star for potential robustness. I used the tool to help make a wooden box for it as the cardboard box it comes in wouldn't last. Easy to use and seems accurate and repeatable enough for general woodworking.

My Trend Digital Depth Gauge is easy to use and it provides enough accuracy for the kind of wood work that I'm doing. I will be using it mostly to take measurements on the piano that I'm rebuilding. The specific measurements will be for the bridges and dowels that support the plate. The numbers in the display window are easy to read. Although it's made mostly of plastic, I'm confident that I can get the accurate results that I need. The parts fit together very well and the tool is functionally sound. I also intend to measure the depth of the maple dowels that are holding the pin block to the case. This tool will enable me to do that because there's a depth pin that's attached to one of the legs. This is going to help me a lot.

Ich benutze die Digitale Meßlehre vor allen Dingen an meinem Oberfräsentisch zur Fräsereinstellung. Es funktioniert einfach perfekt (für meine Bedürfnisse als Hobbywerker) Vorher habe ich immer versucht per Augenmaß und Zollstock (jaha ... "Gliedermaßstab ... ;) ) die Frästiefe am Tisch einzustellen, hat auch geklappt, aber wesentlich aufweniger. Jetzt messe ich im Vorfeld mit der Schieblehre alles aus und kann dann mit Hilfe dieser digitalen Meßlehre den Fräser sehr genau einstellen! Kaufempfehlung: JA!
