Holikme Garage Door Bottom Seal, EPDM Rubber Weather Stripping 22Ft Black

My old garage door bottom seal had been in place for about 20 years, and it finally stopped providing a proper seal. Some sections were worn out, letting in dust, drafts, and bugs. This Holikme EPDM rubber weather stripping kit turned out to be an excellent replacement. The installation was straightforward: • Disconnect the garage door and set it halfway. • Remove the two end screws holding the old seal. • Pull the old rubber out — mine slid out easily once the screws were removed. • Clean the channel grooves with a brush and compressed air. • Spray soapy water along the grooves to help the new seal slide in smoothly. • Insert the new seal while keeping the grooves lubricated. • Trim the excess (I ordered the 17 ft version and cut off about a foot). The whole process took less than 30 minutes. The EPDM rubber is high quality — not too stiff, not too soft. It has just the right flexibility to create a tight seal when the door closes. After installation, I adjusted the closing travel on my opener to make sure the door sat perfectly against the new seal. Overall, this is a great upgrade. The material, fit, and ease of installation make it a highly recommended replacement for any worn out garage door bottom seal.

Just installed the Holikme Garage Door Seal to my 16 ft garage door. The quality of this product is really strong rubber and I like that it has a baffle in the middle. When I put my door down it created a perfect seal to the concrete. No light shined through. I recommend this product for ease of installation and cost. I would like to say that I would buy this product again but I think it is going to be many years before that happens again! Stop scrolling and put it in your cart.

I installed this seal in less than 30 minutes. No extra person needed. No adjustment to the door travel. No light showing from the outside of the door. I have only had it installed for a little over 24 hours. I like it and reccomend it to anyone needing to replace thier seal. Great value for the money. I had no gaps at the bottom of the door. No water penetration after a rain shoer today. I saved over $125 doing it myself. Don't be afraid of tackling this job yourself. You can do it!!

I have to give it 4.5 stars. The only issue I had was with the rubber end pieces to insert into the hole. It created a bigger gap for light and air when they were installed. Rather an uneven install but it wasn't. Without the those in place, it fits perfect and had a much butter draft protection. But all in all its a thick rubber that works and gets the job done. Quality is great. Side note, I tried buying my own backer rod and had a heck of a time TRYING to install it. Never could, I used every method I could think of to fish it through and never could.

so far so good. Didn’t realize that I needed to put lubricant first so it took me 2 hours to slide this in. Hope it won’t break in less than a year. Will come back for a review update.

Thick but pliable bottom seal that’s easy to install. A quick installation tip … leave a 3” overhang on either side and wrap it back inside itself before inserting the included plug. It will secure the piece, prevent it from coming off the garage door channel, and gives it a clean look.

Just installed today. Cleaned track, sprayed Dawn soap into ENTIRE track. Took Dawn soap and ran it down both side of T on door seal. It took almost a hour to get this into place. Old track slide right out, i was like this is going to be a piece of cake. Had my wife help as suggested to use 2 people. The instructions do NOT differentiate between which side of the T track to use, as one side of the product is off center. Maybe this would have helped ?? Any way, lining up the 2 T tracks on the bottom of the garage door was NOT easy. They wouldn't stay in place. You need to hold the door seal in a "U" and guide it into the bottom of the door. Once in even with soap dripping fro the garage tracks it was NOT easy to guide it thru the tracks. As far as the installation goes I would give it a 1 out of 10. PAIN the - - -! I really do like the plugs that get installed at each of the door seal I will do a follow up on how the door seal holds up after 6 month.

Excellent quality product! Easy to install and the gasket stays in place in the tracks and seals tightly. End plugs very easy to install. Cutting to size was a breeze. Would highly recommend this product.

We replaced our old seal with this one it was perfect.

Très satisfait du résultat, installation à deux presque obligatoire. Pendant que un tire l'autre en ligne comme il se doit dans les rainure. Beaucoup mieux que mon encien coupe froid. Plus grand ce qui permet d'avoir une plus grosse partie qui touche au sol. Dans mon cas, ça va scellé beaucoup mieux et réglé le problème d'infiltration. Le matériel est très souple. J'ai bonne espoir qu'il dur dans le temps.

Très satisfait. Oui, demande un peu d'effort pour le faire glisser dans les rails mais j'avais mis une eau savonneuse comme suggéré. Ça a bien fonctionné. C'était pour une porte Garaga de 12.5 pieds et je le trouve supérieur en terme de qualité avec son tube au centre.

Great product! Took a bit to install but not more than 30 mins. The plugs at the end are not really to stop bugs or insects as I've still seen bugs inside the seal but that's not a concern at all. You can stop them really but won't see them come in to the garage. The plugs do serve a purpose for me. I can leave a car charging cable under the garage door without damage as the plugs bare most of the pressure/ weight from the garage door and the middle part (soft rubber) just presses on the ground to create a seal. Doesn't cut on the wires. Love it.

Used this ylto replace the door seal on a 5 year, 14' door. This was better than the OEM and works great at keeping dust and water from coming in under the door.
