This rake is gentle on my German Shepherd and gets her thick under coat out beautifully. It's grip is comfortable and easy to use. The rake is not flimsy at all and works great. Excellent quality.

Wow. Works like a charm for our Newfie! He doesn't like being groomed, but this tool doesn't pull and if I wait until he's sleepy I can go to town. The furminator worked well for our Great Pyrenees, but didn't touch the Newfie's double coat.

Like spa day at home~ as I brush my golden retriever, whom by the way does not like to be brushed has fell in love with this grooming tool. I would highly recommend it for any golden retriever as it’s perfect for removing hair but they happen to love it like I mean really love it!
