Was so looking forward to this as my son recently was given a Tonie box and is a big gruffalo fan, but it finished half way through the story! Can’t believe for £15 they don’t even read the whole story, such a shame as I love the concept but won’t be buying more if they only read half a book.

I bought this for my grandson as we wanted to stop him watching videos at bedtime as he would stay awake for hours some nights. So an alternative was needed as he doesn't like going to bed with nothing at all. His parents bought the toniebox and the tonies were gifts for his third birthday a month ago, so now he's got several and he gets to pick what he has each night which he enjoys. He also falls asleep before the end of the story, so goal accomplished and a well rested child in the morning for nursery. They are shorter stories than I expected them to be, especially as they are not cheap. But they do double up as toys so you get extra use out of them that way. My grandson enjoys them and the toniebox is portable so when he stays with me he brings it and it makes a huge difference at bedtime. Overall I would say it's a great idea having a toy they can play with and that can tell them a story. The only real drawback is that they are not cheap.

These are supposed to come with a book and this one did not! Our son bought this out of his own pocket for his friends. He’s extremely upset and we’re very disappointed at this! Far too expensive for what we were given and it only lasts 15 minutes! Not worth it

They are well painted . And never ever have an issue granddaughter has so many now she loves them at bedtime the story relaxes her after her busy day after bath story cuddles and bed the red tonie box goes on with her telling us which one she wants on now from gruffallo to her fav cartoon tv children’s tonie a or Disney ones it’s her weekly /monthly treat when COVID was on lockdown as nana couldn’t see her as much but we got to share the tonie s at bedtime

The tonie box and various characters are amazing. My 3yr old has complete control over which ones she listens to each night and falls asleep by the end of the story. Far better than letting her watch the tablet which keeps her awake for hour after hour or me reading for hours while she disturbs the story and tries to play... we make a big deal of choosing her tonie and she puts the one she wants on the box. Peter rabbit and stories is great.
