Border Leather Chula Vista Large Leather Duffel Bag (Black)

I've had this bag for about a month. I am pleased with the overall quality of the leather, the inner lining, and the compartment layout. The handles and straps are also effective, though the collar for the handles is a bit tight on the velcro unless you nest to the handles just right. The zippers are also a little light weight for the application. They could use larger teeth like heavier weight zippers, though the smaller teeth will be more fluid resistant. Overall, a good choice so far.

My husband is quite particular. I bought this for him for Christmas as his old one. After about 35 years and 48 countries his leather bag bit the dust. I was not sure what he would think of this one and since I had not been able to see it before purchasing I was all the more anxious. He opened his present on Christmas day and was just thrilled. He immeditaely emptied his "old stand by" and filled his new bag. He/we are now ready to continue travelling the world - new bag in hand. Thanks Amazon!

I have to agree with the other reviewer who cautioned against putting this bag in the airplane's hold. Normally I would only use this as carry on but I was doing a family trip and already had two things to take into the cabin so into the hold it went. When it emerged later, the zipper to close the bag was blown out. Its a light zipper so no suprise.

The bag is not as it appears on the site. The leather is thin and the finish is somewhat shiny.The bag is roomy and does not have any offensive odors. Use this bag for light duty applications, do not put it in any airline luggage hold! The bag would not survive.The bag is worth the price paid just because it is leather...but long-term durability is questionable.

This is the best bag ever for the price. It looks, feels, and acts just like a $400 to $500 dollar bag. But don't take my word for it, if you're in the market for one see for yourself. Large enough for a short jaunt somewhere and is easy to carry, plenty of space to put all your things when you travel.

I think it will be a good bag -only time will tell. Appears to be constructed well but I'm VERY disappointed in the color! It is not even close to the shade shown in the picture. I'm adding a photo to (hopefully) show the difference in color.

The bag looks great for the price and appears to be very well made. Taking it on trip next week

My husband fit everything he needed in this bag for a 4 nt. Vegas trip. It's not huge by any means, but roomy enough if you're not an "overpacker". It has a nice feel, doesn't "stink", and is comfortable to carry.
