It's a good thing I unrolled this item shortly upon receiving it, and not when it was needed later on... As I discovered a very large snag and hole in the fabric. The fabric is very thin and loosely woven, and the waterproof backing is an extremely thin plastic (no better than a trash bag). The quality is so poor, that I couldn't imagine this blanket holding up for even a single use. Outrageous price from something of such poor quality.

My family and I love to go to the beach every year. This tasty year we decided that we are tired of carrying a bunch of stuff with us. You fill you car with beach chairs and coolers and sand toys, then there is barely any room for us to sit. Once you actually get there, you have to carry all that stuff down to the beach. Well, we have had just about enough of that. This blanket is big enough for us all to sit on and the bottom is waterproof. When we are done using in for the day all we have to do is shake it out and roll it up. If the top part gets wet, we can just hang it out over the banister to dry. It is so much more convenient than carrying a bunch of chairs around. This blanket and an insulated bag to replace a huge plastic cooler have made it so much more fun for us to go down to the beach every morning on our vacation.

Very nice blanket! It's not super thick, but there is a waterproof material on the back and the print side is soft but seems durable. It's a pretty blue/gray/green plaid pattern. The edges are sewed really well, so it shouldn't fray easily. I was pleasantly surprised at how big this thing is! (84.6’’ x 66") it will work for 2 to 4 people, seated comfortably. The Prime shipping was super fast, I got it in 2 days. What I love the most is the way it rolls up and then the straps fit over the whole thing to hold it securely and it even has a handle. No more trying to keep a blanket folded while it slips out and falls on the ground as you are trying to get where you're going. It's not heavy at all. My grandkids used it this past weekend to have a 'picnic' in the living room. Great value too.

Large & Luxurious Picnic BlanketThis picnic mat is larger and softer than expected! I have the regular size picnic blanket tote and have been waiting for “years” to replace a bigger one, because I need a big enough blanket for my family of 5. Perfect size and I don’t have to lay out a bunch of towels on the beach and it can be easily rolled up and comes with a leather handle after you done with it. The top fabric is a kind of woven cotton threads which feels much better than my previous nylon top blanket with tones of pills. I have to say its looks way better when it’s rolled up with the handle which gives me the surge to spend a whole day on it in the park or beach. Great product for the price.

I definitely do jot regret this buy, perfect for what I needed, a travel baby play area for parks and our backyard! Easy to roll, lightweight. My only complaint is that the bottom liner that makes it waterproof is very thin...mine caught a wooden pull as I was fluffing and now has two holes I need to patch before I use it again. I washed it in my washer and hung to dry with no shredding problems. I plan to patch the holes with ducktape.

Love love love this blanket. The quality is great and the leather straps make it super easy to pack up and put away and also keeps it from unrolling when you don't need it to. I also love the pattern and it's absolutely huge! An entire family can comfortably sit on it with room to spare. The number one reason why I bought this over another similar one I was looking at is because of the waterproof bottom. There is absolutely nothing worse than getting up from an outdoor blanket with a wet bottom and a wet soggy blanket. 10/10 a great purchase.

Bought this to use for lunch on Jeep trips. Wasn't looking for waterproofing as much as protection from dirt and debris. Good thing, because stiff, sharp pine needles go right through the vinyl (along with my skin - ouch!) The colors are nice and don't show dirt. The vinyl side is easily brushed off before re-rolling, and easily cleaned after a trip. This is folded into fifths before rolling, with the dirty vinyl side touching one-fifth of the fabric side. That leaves the fabric side out, so any remaining dirt is contained in the roll. Not bad in dry conditions (just brush it off before rolling); might be a problem with damp ground. I might try folding into sixths to prevent this, but the straps and handle might not fit.

I purchased this item to have picnics with my family at the beach and at the park. I think this blanket is really good for the beach or for the sand or for picnic it's really big!The quality of the material is really nice! It's soft and the other side of the blanket is easy to use on the beach and does not collect sand. Super high-quality blanket. Would recommend this item to anyone.
