Can I turn on the air conditioner before I get home?

What app am i supposed to download to control the ac? Mine was used and didnt come with instructions. Tried reaching out to acekool but no responce!

Smartlife-SmartHome Make a username and password then Add device There are 2 modes CF(Quick connection) and AP(Access Point) for adding device 1-CF mode 1. Power on the indoor unit, no need to launch the air conditioner. 2. Click "+" in the upper right corner of the "Home" screen or tap "Add device" on the room which has no device. 3. Tap the "Window Type Air conditioner logo 4. Input the password of the Wi-Fi which the same as your smart phone connected, then tap "Next". 5. Follow the comments on the next screen to reset the Wi-Fi module then check "Confirm the device is reset" and tap"Next". 6. You can see the percent rate of connecting process, at the same time "PP", "SA", "AP" shining in turn on the indoor display. How to connect with Alexa?

When the air conditioner is connected to the app, there is a "+" button in the upper right corner of the app, and there is a detailed description of connecting to Alexa when you click on it. Will this unit without the wings fit my 16" window?

Best room cooling AC!

I needed a personal AC for my rather large 2nd floor bedroom. I love in an older home and my room is farthest from the central air unit, so gets very little cooling from the main ac of our house.I've tried 2 other AC units, but it never really gets it cool enough (I need it COLD to sleep (night hot flashes). This one wins!!!!My only critic is that it does have a wifi option on the front panel, but my instructions don't say anything about how to set it up.

blows very cold,for smaller unit it works great..but shop around sellers,could find cheaper..just pay attention to shipping charges.BAD NEED REPEATER TO CHANGE WIFI SIGNAL FROM 5 TO 2 IN ORDER TO CONTROLL FROM FAR AWAY...

Pretty good

Fan is loud unless it's on eco mode, which I would recommend if your using it while sleeping. Works well and cycles automatically which is great for the longevity of the unit. Remote works well and the ac works just as well.

Edited review the air conditioning works as expected

The unit works amazing and keeps my room very cool. I got the mobile app working but I can’t seem to get it to connect to the amazon Alexa. Kind of upsetting as this was one of the main reasons I chose this unit.Edit: The merchant reached out and provided excellent customer service and provided amazing assistance in explaining how to hook my air conditioner to Alexa and now my air conditioner work exactly as I expected. Thanks for your assistance.

Blower motor failed

After 6 months of having two of these AC units one of them stopped blowing. It will still come on but will not blow any air out. I called Amazon and they refused to help me and even disconnected the line. -do not buy this and do not buy from Amazon.

Does the job

Needed a little more cooling in our bedroom and this does the job. It’s small and fairly quiet. Size was not exactly accurate. It is 16 inches wide. Almost made it a deal breaker for the window it was to go in, but we made it work

Cool but Very loud.

I bought this because of the size and the noise rating in particular. Unfortunately it is extremely loud on even the lowest settings. I don’t think the info they give is accurate. Just a big warning for anyone else out there comparing ‘quiet’ ACs.If I could send it back I would.It also came with a huge dent in the bottom.

Gets the job done.

Great air conditioner, small, lightweight gets the job done. Cools very quickly. Set up to Alexa was easy and works as expected. Only slight negative, but not an issue is how loud it was compared to my last air conditioner. Overall I'm happy and recomend it
