Great for my curly hair!
Update: Instead of doing regular treatments, I have been adding a few drops of this product to my leave in conditioner every day- it's definitely helping my curls keep for longer. I absolutely love it!I do not dye or highlight my hair, but instead I used this as a filler to boost my curly hair and I LOVED the results.I've recently begun doing A LOT more research on how to take care of my curly hair- I always thought that I just needed to add moisture, but after a few tests for protein (basically by stretching wet hair), I realized that actually my hair isn't moisture deficient, it's protein deficient.I only used half the bottle this first time (I was a little nervous about overdoing it, but next time will add the full bottle) and even with just that, I noticed fuller curls that last longer. I used it by mixing the liquid with a little bit of conditioner and then spreading it over my hair. I left it in my hair (did not rinse out) and then just added my gel on top of it. As I said above, I love love love love how it makes my hair look! I plan on incorporating a protein treatment into my normal routine and using a full bottle ~every month or so.**Quick note- this is definitely not for everyone with curly hair. I would DEFINITELY recommend looking into whether or not your hair is protein sensitive before adding. For some people, adding protein, especially such high concentrations of protein, can make your hair dry and brittle. There are plenty of resources out there, but basically I took a piece of hair out of my head and wrapped it around my fingers to try and stretch it. All hair should stretch a little bit, but my hair stretched quite a bit (more than 50% stretch), indicating a need for more protein.**

Hair stylist friend recommended this
Use this as a reconstructive treatment and it works great. Just don't overdo it or it can actually make your hair even more brittle. When used properly it thickens out and brings so much more life and thickness into my hair. A small bottle goes a long way. I do it about once a month for upkeep and my hair feels much healthier.

Won't dye again without this.
I failed to dye my hair red for the hair that had previously been bleached, so just the top of my hair was red and the bottom was blondish/brown (Several feet of hair with the top 5 inches red). These bottles are small. I recommend getting several if your hair is to your waist. They also sell a bigger bottle. Buy a spritzer. Spritz your hair with water and brush it to even the water. Spritz the protein filler. I let mine sit for half an hour not twenty minutes. Then I put the dye in, just loreal preferance 6R Light Auburn. I let that sit an extra fifteen minutes on the hair that the dye washed out before where it had previously been bleached, and then put it on the rest using two boxes of hair-dye since I have lots of hair.. And it looks fabulous. I look like the red lady. I also washed the color out with EXTREMELY cold water, and minimally wash my hair now, gently towel drying it and not using a blow-dryer or any heat on it. Surprisingly my scalp is less oily than when I washed it everyday. I'm getting side-tracked. Point being, if you're having trouble getting hair-color to stick, get this, get a spray bottle, be glamorous!

Strong hair
This doesnt really make your hair more soft but it does help with the protein bond. After my pregnancy my hair felt really thin and limp. I can tell a huge difference after using this product.

A Must Have for people who color!
I ALWAYS use this before dying my hair. It helps my hair take dye evenly so it's not patchy, and it helps me to avoid "hot roots" where the roots end up lighter than the lengths. You can either apply this directly to your dry hair for a few minutes before coloring, or you can actually mix a little into your dye if you're in a hurry. Another great use for this is mixing it in with your conditioner once or twice a week to help keep your color fresh. You can also do this if you notice your hair feels dry or damaged. Mixing the protein filler with a deep conditioner and letting it sit on your head for about 10 minutes will really help to soften and strengthen your hair.

I thought "what's the worst that could happen if it doesn't work
I went from dyed dark brown to very light auburn hair. I had to bleach my hair 2 times in one day and applied the light auburn color to my hair. As I expected, the color did not turn out even. I waited a few days and reapplied the color and again the ends did not take the dye. I have heard of protein filler before but I didn't think it would really work for me. I thought "what's the worst that could happen if it doesn't work?" So I ordered this online. It was expected to be delivered the following Monday but showed up the Friday before. I was so excited I opened it and applied it to my hair after buying a 3rd box of the light auburn color. It actually worked! My hair is the same color from the roots to the end. This stuff is amazing! I will use this every time I dye my hair from now on.
