I needed something to carry with me when shopping because I buy collectable glass for my own collection and for resale. You can't always tell for SURE by looking at glass if it is uranium glass. Some it is obvious, but not all, and some tiny things like marbles are not always obvious. These are wonderful for MY needs. I actually went over all my own stuff and found a couple surprises. That was nice. And the comparable price was great. Highly recommend!

This is a review of the 2-pack GKG scorpion UV flashlight. These are small (about 3 inches long) flashlights with a metal barrel. They are surprisingly heavy given their size. They have an orange rubber button on one end. They have three modes, one of which is constant, one of which flashes quickly and the final one is a bit dim. The light source seems to be an LED and it is bright. They are powered by a single AA battery.If you like to check the "lume' on your watch, look for scorpions, make a G&T look really flashy, or anything else where a dose of UV, or blacklight is needed, then these are a great buy.

It's a good UV light, uses one AA battery, but seems to use it up pretty fast. The sliding focus is good, doesn't slip. I have another UV flashlight that seems to be more UV, not sure if it's a different wavelength or more powerful, but the colors I can see seems different? This one seems to be less bright? Anyhow it will do the UV thing. and you get 2. Has one LED, the modern flat style ones. Screw end not knurled which makes it not as easy to grip to twist off. I did it but with my fingers, so not that hard...

I’m a professional poker dealer, I heard about players marking cards in Vegas a while back and wanted to make sure my cards weren’t marked...it would ruin my reputation. A black light is the solution to ensuring an honest game. This light is strong enough to use in a fully lit room; the perfect tool for the job. This order comes with two lights so I have one to the poker tournament director at my work; he was ecstatic as well.

I should qualify this - the first delivery of two had one defective (stuck in "low mode") after using (1) EverReady AA Lithium battery able to cycle only once through all 3 settings. I contacted the company and they sent me another (2) set replacement via (2) day. I did send them back the defective one (for post-mortem, if they wish) to a North Las Vegas NV address. Absolutely no complaints (yet) for the ones I have now. The sliding beam focus is nice (wish other "white LED" had this feature); beam varies between Focus of interlocked "fingers" of the LED to a spread out beam in in High/Low/Flash mode. It does appear to UV (though I have no way of measuring the wavelength) as it lights up white & fluorescent colors around my house. It does show reflections from my (now clean) toilet bowl outside, and other "white-ish" stuff. Industrial construction (except for the tailcap maybe - we'll see). If this were available in a IR/LED/UV multi-mode flashlight, that would be awesome (I seeked, but could not find). Great Deal

I got the 2 pack, and they both were defective. Tried both lights with several different, and brand new, batteries. When I put the battery in, they would pop on for just a second. If I was lucky, it would stay on for 30 seconds or so, dimming the whole time. And if I turned it off after that, it would not come back on AT ALL. Had to remove and replace the battery for 20 seconds more of use. Moreover, the emitted light was not up to what I needed it for. DO NOT BUY THESE, it's a waste of money.
