Perfect for my quail!
This light is fantastic! The cord for the solar panel is long, so you have quite a bit of room to find the perfect place to mount it. Here is my setup: hammered in a nail, hung the solar panel, fashioned a loop around a board, plugged in the bulb and hung it. Done! It began charging at 9 am and, after I actually clicked the button to turn on the bulb (on top), it lit up. They say it's the equivalent of a 20 amp bulb ... I don't know but the light is bright and clear but doesn't blind us or our neighbors. I have no idea how long the light lasts but by 5 am it is dark. As happy as I am, my husband is more, since he doesn't have to run electricity to the quail hutch. I want to see if I can buy just bulbs (they can also be charged via a USB charger), so I have extras.

One Of The Better Ones
This Is One Of The Better OnesI think what Its suppose to do Is the light automatically goes off In the day time and recharges then comes back on at night automatically but I do Not know about summer but In Winter shorter daylight hours does Not charge up very good.also If was to put the light bulb In a dark room but the solar panel outside In the daylight then there will be No light without unplugging It. so If You used enough solar panels to keep It on all the time It will Not work.

Lithium batteries do not work in the cold
I bought this for our chicken coop to extend the daylength hours so the hens will keep on laying. It works great while the sun is shining on the panel, but it is currently in the 30's outside and in the coop, and the lithium batter is cold, and will not hold a charge. so when the sun goes down, the light bulb is off too.

Charger insert is bent
But it hasn't prevented it from charging, I just have to be careful when inserting it into the bulb. Also, the bulb will not come on if plugged in to the charger cable. I'm not sure if this is as designed or a result of the charging system being bent. I would like to be able to use it while it continues to charge.

Only 1 hour of use on full charge - not worth it if you already have battery power
If you already have a battery system such as in an RV or camper trailer, this light just isn't worth your money. Why? Because it's $27, and it lasts just 1 hour on a full charge. They don't specifically say this in the product description of course, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it, but it does say 3800aH/3.7V, which equates to roughly 1 hour of use.

Very bright
I was surprised at how bright this is. I wish it had a dawn til dusk timer though. You have to turn it off. Very handy for camping . I bought mine to replace the electric bulb in my exteria lamp post. But I think it will go in the shed instead. Still very pleased with it though

This solar light has been great for our garden shed. Still working great after many months of use.

Works a treat!
Only a month in but so far this is working exactly as described. I have fitted it to my chicken house so it comes on each evening at dusk and goes out as the battery fades - I've not witnessed it still being on at dawn! Assuming it lasts the course (more than 12 months!) then it looks like a great value product.
