Still working on the last batch from a different seller, but I tried a couple of these, just to see how they differed. These are the same size, which is perfect for me. The difference seems to be the direction of the bumps inside the bags, which are set on the diagonal. I wasn't sure if that would make any difference, but I can't see any. Both sucked the air out quickly.That said, my vacuum sealer has the option to switch to "seal only", after only some of the air is out (so as to not crush breads, etc). This has often let some of the air back in, when it lost the seal as it switched from sucking to sealing. I tried that on these bags, too, and it seemed not to let the air back in, when I tried it yesterday. Not sure of that was because of the diagonal pattern, or not, but it's a good thing to me.Pros:Perfect size bags for meats (and veggies), as packaged by the grocery stores.They seem sturdy to me, but only time will tell on that.Cons: None so far.

Horrible product, does not work as advertised. I was having a dinner party and needed a vaccum sealer machine for the sous vide. I thought this cheap sealer would be able to do the job at least once. I was wrong! I needed to hold this machine down with a lot of force in order for the vacuum to work and before all the air was removed from the bag the sealer turned on and sealed the opening. A lot of time was wasted trying to get it to work even ONCE. This is a cheap knockoff of what a real vacuum sealer should do. I ended up returning this and buying a real vacuum seal machine for a little more money. I am much more satisfied with my new machine and would heed anyone reading to just spend a little more to purchase a real vacuum sealer. I was fooled into buying this machine with the high reviews that seem questionable.

I was going to give them 4 stars. good product and MUCH cheaper than the silly Food Saver bags. However, just before leaving for a vacation I used 2 bags to vacuum seal 2 bags of boneless skinless chicken breasts. Coming home a week later I discovered the bags right where I left them. . . on the counter next to the Food Saver. Both bags were bloated like a balloon from the spoiled chicken breasts and the gas they gave off. HOWEVER, neither bag had failed. I could simply take both out to the trash with no muss, no fuss, no nasty stink in the house or messy cleanup. That's worth five stars in my book any day.

I thought I'd give a cheap version a try since vacuum sealing is not rocket science. But could not get the vacuum function to work. You have to go online to look at the video to figure out how it works. The manual (which I've read plenty of manuals where it's clear the writer's first language is not English and yet you can understand the instructions) is useless and nonsensical.

I finally figured out how to get this to work and now I'm vacuum sealing everything! I just used it most recently to vacuum and seal individual beef steaks. It takes a little while with it's little vacuum pump in there, but so far has worked really well. It was a little harder to understand the proper operation initially, but after that all is well. It does feel very flimsy though, so I don't expect it to last forever.

Worked well the first time I used it. Didn't even use up the bags that came in the package with the appliance. Second time I tried to use it, it wouldn't create a vacuum or seal a bag end.

Right out of box, does not work. Will seal but does not pull a vacuum. Junk

This sealer does not work, Save your money because it's junk!
