Strong packaging
A good product with strong packaging. Designed to be stored safely for a long time. After cutting the food biscuit free from the pack (using scissors) l broke off a small portion to try. It's easy enough to nibble on and has good solid feel. The biscuit crumbles well and can be eaten just as it is. I also crumbled some into a bowl of soup. After eating just a small portion l found that l felt quite full. I recommend this product, it would definitely be very useful for long distance walking and camping wild trips. A very versatile product. I would buy again

9 small bars and not very long shelf life
9 small bars in a package, only 10cm long, cut in half. I ate the other part of the bar to taste it. Made in 2023 expiry date 2029. Tastes OK but nothing special. I expected longer shelf life- 20 years at least. To take one bar you open all vacuum sealed packaging so if you not use now, you waste it. It surely can save lives if you are on a lifeboat but I am not going to buy more.

Compact biscuits for our Go Bag
These are a perfect addition for our Go Bags. A small box is enough for 3 days in a survival situation. I tried one of the ones about to go out of date and the flavour is a bit like a shortbread biscuit but more oily. Not quite a three course meal but in an emergency they are fine. They don't take up much room in the bag which is good as there are so many more items to pack! :)
