I have ADHD, and have been taking medication for it for the last 16 years. I’m 62. I’ve always dreaded quitting my Dexedrine. But I’m getting older and you can’t take it forever right? So on new year’s I stopped. The first week wasn’t bad, but the following week I had no energy and just wanted to sleep all day. I was miserable and knew that the lack of dopamine was the problem. This went on for 2 weeks and I was getting desperate to feel better. I was looking around on Amazon and found a few possibilities. Then I remembered this company, as I take the magnesium recommended by my nurse practitioner friend. All the reviews I read sounded like it might work, so I ordered it. The first week it didn’t do anything for me and I was quite disappointed but thought maybe it needs to build up in your system, so I stayed with it. By the middle of the second week I could tell that I felt better, and the following week I felt almost normal. I have cut the dosage back to one a day and it seems to be working.
