I was planning to only order the larger 18" version, but picked this 12" one up because I often need something more compact for tight spaces that something like a softbox won't fit in. I'm glad I did - I actually like it better than I like the 18" version.Like the larger version, this one features a dimmable switch, which is of course extremely important - there's a reason we don't just use a super bright flashlight to light our shots. It does a great job of getting brighter and dimmer without changing color temperature. Unlike a surprising number of other lights, it has a long cord (which is critical for anywhere that you might be moving around the light). It comes with a tripod which, unlike the larger light, it fits on and is supported at any angle. The cell phone holder is also fully adjustable, which I'm guessing would be useful for all you selfie-lovers out there.There are a couple cons, but they're minor. There are no instructions (or paper of any kind), which means getting the light to be truly secure on the tripod can be more challenging than you might expect. It comes with a reasonably decent carrying case, but the tripod doesn't fit in it. And, of course, the color temperature isn't adjustable, but that's clearly stated in the listing, so there's no reason to really count that against it.I've done lots of photography, and used lots of lights of all different types and styles, but I've found few that have done as good a job in as small a package as this one has. Every negative I mentioned was really nitpicking, because I hate to not be somewhat balanced when I tell people about a new product. I'm really impressed with this, and will be using it regularly (if my wife doesn't steal it away from me first).I've attached a few pictures showing just how short and tall this thing can get (it almost touches the ceiling), as well as how bright it is when it's on full. I've also attached a video showing just how well it dims and brightens. The only way my iphone camera could compensate for that much brightness was to make it look like the rest of the world had gone black. That's pretty impressive.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This LED Ring Light is an amazing addition to my setup! Can work both as a main light, or a filler. Light stand gets extremely tall, which is great for angling the light down. Very lightweight, making it easy to grab and go. Light stand is very nice, providing both stability, and height. The white and warm colors are both great. But the mixture of the two creates more of a natural lighting which helps whenever shooting indoors or when it's dark outside. Charging cable is just long enough, but eventually will grab an extension cable to be able to move around more. Carrying bag is great, houses the light and the mounts perfectly. This will be the center of all of my lighting needs!

This product would be so awesome, if it didn't fell apart immediately.The light works fine, and the stand itself is easy to adjust.HOWEVER, the quality is extremely poor.The top part doesn't seem to actually fit with the stand, and none of the tighteners can be tightened enough for the different parts to stay in place. After 2 days of use (in the house, nothing crazy) parts started falling off, and the different elements no longer fit together. Everything wobbles, and it's almost not usable anymore.Very poor quality. Seems to be an assembly of various parts that don't actually fit together.Extremely disappointed.Complete mismatch between price and quality.Fail.

Great light, so perfect for me I use it everyday at work for long periods of time (tattoo artist), stand is kind of cheap but for the price I ain’t going to complain super happy

Easy set up. Easy operation. Good price. Provides great lighting for photo shoots.

Package did not come with the power cord , i then had to make a new order for the power cord then come to find out the light won’t turn on now. Omgeeeee LoL
