## Overview

Sennelier’s Extra-Soft French Pastel Half Set of 6 features premium pure pigments in a curated autumn color range. Designed for professional artists, these pastels offer a uniquely soft texture for smooth, vibrant coverage. Each stick is naturally air-dried and housed in a protective molded foam case, making them perfect for studio or on-the-go creativity.

## Description

Sennelier's Extra-Soft Pastels were created over a period of three years at the turn of the 20th century and the result was the creation of one of the largest chromatic range of pastels. These pastels are comfortable to hold and allow for large areas to be covered with a lush, luxurious color. Each pastel is composed of a natural transparent binder. For gradient shades, increasing amounts of mineral fines are added, ultimately tending towards white. The exceptional brightness is the result of the pigment and the natural mineral fines discovered by Sennelier in 1905 and that have been used ever since. The manufacturing process of the Sennelier cylindrical pastel does not compress the paste. Each half stick measures 1-1/4" long x 1/2" in diameter. These 6-Stick Sets are peggable and compact.

Review: Gee color and easy to apply - I really like these pastels. The pigment is wonderful, they go on smoothly and easily. I wish I bought the full stick rather than the half stick. I will definitely buy these again.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gee color and easy to apply

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pastel product!!

Wonderful product with high pigment, have used it on many projects! Love these blues!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ GREAT Pastels - lousy packaging
*by V***S on May 21, 2025*

I love these pastels and intend to buy more. They are VERY soft and easy to use (I use them with makeup brushes to paint dolls' faces). The colors are intense and even. I previously used Rembrandt, but like these better. Update. I bought more of these pastels that arrived today in a padded envelope. These pastels are very fragile and needed more careful packaging than just being thrown into a padded envelope. They arrived in pieces - very disappointed.
