These mats are very good, they look nice and do a very good job of keeping your foot wear clean.

Initially the supplier sent the wrong item. A brown fibre mat had to be returned before I took delivery of the green AstroTurf mat. I have only had the replacement mat a few days but it looks very good and seems to be of a high quality. I did notice some shedding of plastic "grass" blades but this might be a result of the mat being cut from a larger roll? Overall I am very happy with this item.

I have had this make of doormat before and it lasted for 20 years! So I bought again, same colour, in green. Always looks like new easy to clean, I just hose mine down. So much better than a soggy coir mat, these mats don't hold the water. My doorstep is not very wide so these mats can be cut too size if needed. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

I fitted the mat into a large shallow plastic tray previously used to stand garden pots in. I keep it by the garden hose and a house drain. I keep the tray partly full of water from the hose used to clean the boot tops and shuffling about on the wet mat does a great job of cleaning my boot soles. The dirty water overflows into a drain via a hole cut in the side of the tray. Sorted! The strip I cut off, to fit the tray, is kept by the front door for less dramatic shoe wiping.Does anyone know how to train a muddy hound to wipe his paws?

Very light weight and, given past experience, will blow away up the road in a high wind. Also skids easily with the smallest amount of moisture on the step. Almost went base over apex on the first day when I stepped out onto it.Didn't feel safe to leave for visitors, postman etc. So here's my astro-turf hack: using electrical 'cable ties' I fixed this lightweight doorstep-surfer to the old rubber/coir mat it was due to replace. The old mat was losing its bristles but is nice and heavy, and non-slip, so this should solve both problems. Just needed to place the astro on top of the old mat, bodge a hole in each corner, thread the cables through and pull them up tight, clipping off the excess.On the other hand it would have been nice to get a heavy weight non-slip mat!

Just what I ordered

Fa quel che deve: trattiene polvere e terra quando dal giardino rientri in casa, e proprio lì sopra ti cambi le scarpe o, soltanto, te le pulisci (buona la prima). Si pulisce con estrema facilità, lavandolo con un getto d'acqua, e quando lo togli basta passare la scopa sotto. Il prezzo è giusto. Ne sto per comprare un altro, più piccolo, per un'altra soglia.AGGIORNAMENTO: Per ordinarne un'altra, vedo che la pagina dell'oggetto non è più la prima che si trova, né seguendo il link dei miei ordini, né il motore di ricerca di Amazon: si viene indirizzati a un oggetto identico, ma di prezzo molto più alto...che modificherebbe le mie considerazioni. Cercando bene, si trova però anche questo, a questo prezzo (peraltro venduto da Amazon...)
