Absolutely Amazing Drone Bit Pricey, But Worth Every Penny!
From the moment I unboxed the DJI Mini 3, I was impressed. The packaging is clean and premium, with everything neatly organized and secure. You can tell DJI puts real care into their products. The drone itself is incredibly lightweight and compact, yet it feels sturdy and high quality. Setup was quick and easy even as someone fairly new to drones, I had it in the air within minutes. The controls are smooth and intuitive, and the app makes flying even easier. The camera quality is outstanding. Crisp 4K video, smooth footage, and vibrant colors, even in lower light. The gimbal does a great job stabilizing shots, and the vertical shooting mode is perfect for social media. It’s packed with smart features like intelligent flight modes, auto takeoff/landing, and return-to-home. Battery life is great too I get plenty of flying time without constantly recharging.Yes, it’s a bit pricey but honestly, it’s worth every penny. Whether you’re a beginner or looking for a compact, high-performance drone, the DJI Mini 3 is an incredible choice. Highly recommended!

Impressive for a beginner
Super impressed with this small but wonderful drone. If you are technically minded then it's ok to understand reasonably quickly. I am still on a learning curve when it comes to flying it but really enjoying the fact it takes time to develop flying skills and videoing skills. I've heard of other people crashing it on day 1 , but if you follow the rules and it does tell you when it's not happy taking off you will be fine. The fly more kit is worth the money, as is the all in one controller. Remember to do the owner operator test and label your drone.

A quality drone in all departments
Before buying this drone I purchased a cheap one to see if drone flying and photography was something was just a fad or something I would like to continue on a long term basis. It turned out to be the latter. So, what drone to buy? There are a lot of drones out there claiming to have 4K or even 8K cameras with the drone itself having lots of features. But I can promise you - even if you are a beginner like me, if you are serious about making this a long term hobby then you need to spend a bit. You really do get what you pay for. I looked at and read reviews of many drones but in the end I focused on Holy Stone and DJI. Holy Stone seemed decent and cheaper but DJI, although more expensive seemed to have the edge in the key areas of quality of the camera and flyability of the drone. In the end I went for this DJI Mini 3 with the Fly More package which included the remote control with built in screen, 2 extra batteries and a shoulder bag to put it all in. This package was at the very top end of what I wanted to pay and maybe a bit more than what I wanted to pay. At this point, I should say I was also looking at the Mini 3 Pro which has quite a few upgraded features, the main ones being a better camera, an obstacle avoidance system and Active Tracking where the drone can fix on and follow a moving object. I would have liked the obstacle avoidance but the Mini Pro 3 with the Fly More package was about £300 more than the Mini 3. Much more than I wanted to pay. So I bought the Mini 3 and also bought a 2 year care package for £85 which covers accidental damage. And I can tell you that the camera produces very good photos and even better videos in 4K. And the drone instils confidence. It is very responsive and very stable - a joy to fly. It handles windy conditions very well. Build quality of all components is also excellent.

DJI mini 3
Great Drone, quality item, camera quality is excellent, operation and response of the drone is first class, hand set with the built-in screen is excellent and simple to navigate, it may be last years model but great value for money with the fly more combo, only criticism this model has no obstacle avoidance, but still 5 stars

First Time Drone Buyer Flyer
The media could not be loaded. OK, so where do i start, I am a 100% newbie to drones I will try and get this in order.I started by completing my various ID badges on the CAA, whilst these are not always required they do give you a decent understanding of where to fly and respecting privacy etc.Once the package arrived I opened the box and there was a QR code which advised I downloaded the app to my mobile phone, I have not used this since and not totally sure why I downloaded it.From opening the box to actually flying was around 2 hours, doing it now I could probably half this time, I didn't find the instructions to operating and setting us that easy.I charged the controller and batteries, it did come with 2 cables, for me i needed 2 Type C to USB rather than Type C to USB & Type C to Type C that was issued. That's only for me however you will need to choose what suits. The drone was packaged as it is sold in the black bag which is great quality. The drone itself came setup in terms of the propellers, so just needed a battery adding and then downloading the latest software.Battery level - press the button once, this is for the controller or Drone.Turning on - Press the button once then release and press again for 3 seconds. As I bought as a set the drone and controller was already connected so automatically recognised each other, the drone in fast mode does have impressive speed and I am sure the range is just as impressive however I have knly taken.it to 40m high and 90m across the field. It fits in the carry case with great protection.A few setup challenges - so when I first tried to fly the drone in my area I could only connect to 11 Satalites so always have to tick fly without GPS which always concerned me, when I moved to the bottom of the garden I got over 20 satellites and the drone was happy to take off without warning. You need to take care setting your parameters around the Home button, make sure the drone clears the highest tree or building. You do this by clicking in the top right 3 dots, i setup the maximum flight distance based on the safe location.Main flying adviceTake care when setting up the drone and let it hover for a while before you start playing with the controls, I say this as it will give you confidence this is what the drone will do if you do not touch the controller, I also highly recommend the controller with a screen for the simply purpose of its less to setup, I can put the drone down and be up flying within 30 seconds now the system if setup. Please do as question, as at the top I just sharing my experience and not a professional so apologies if I have a few mistakes.
