One word: phenomenal!
I recently installed the Topens electric gate opener model PW802 along with the electric lock model ET24, and I am thoroughly impressed! These products have exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Let's start with the gate opener. One word: phenomenal! The PW802 operates so quietly that it's almost eerie. No more waking up the neighborhood with loud clanking noises every time I come or go. And speed? Blink, and the gates are already opening or closing! It's lightning-fast, yet it moves with such smoothness and precision that you can't help but admire the engineering behind it. Plus, installation was a breeze thanks to the comprehensive instructions provided in writing and over the phone. But let's not forget about the ET24 electric lock. This little device is a game-changer! It adds an extra layer of security to my property while seamlessly integrating with the PW802 opener. What really stands out to me is how seamlessly it works with the gate opener. It's like they were made for each other, which I suppose they were! The lock engages and disengages swiftly and silently, ensuring that my gate remains securely closed when I want it to be. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my Topens electric gate opener and electric lock combo. The quiet operation and lightning-fast speed of the PW802, paired with the seamless integration and added security provided by the ET24, make for an unbeatable combination. If you're in the market for a reliable, efficient, and whisper-quiet gate opener and lock system, look no further than Topens. You won't be disappointed!

Topens Gate Opener System (dual opener, wired switches, remotes, etc.)
I purchased a complete Topens Dual Gate Opener setup (A La Carte) including: PW502 Opener, TC196 WiFi Remote, ERM12 Remote, TC175P Wired Keypad, TEW3 Vehicle Sensor Wand, and ET24 Gate Lock. After setting up and adjusting the gate travel, everything works as expected. One significant issue I had to work thru with the support staff at Topens was the inconsistent operation of the TC196 WiFi Remote that works via your smartphone. Although my indoor setup is well within the 230 meters from the gate controls (mine is about 50 meters at the most), the operation was inconsistent. It may work one day and not that afternoon. After several exchanges with Topens support, they suggested an external antenna ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094MW1YMV/) that has fixed the issue. One additional tip I would offer is when you are setting up the TC196, the "paring" sequence MUST be done as fast as possible. It appears the main board only has a few seconds to press the momentary switch on the main board, then press "A" on phone, have lights flash and press "A" on phone again. It took me multiple tries to get it programmed. Again, after solving the issues with the TC196, all the operations of the gate and related components appear to be working as expected. Thanks again to the support at Topens for assistance in getting everything working!

Worked eventually, but very finicky
I got this because I have two big dogs and just put in an electric gate opener. Problem was that the dogs jumping on the gate just opened it. This is solid and the instruction for connecting it to the control box were fine. But I had a horrible time getting it to latch without getting stuck. The gate catch with the rod that is grasped by the clasp has to be put exactly right or it doesn't work. And the instructions give suggestions about things you might have to try, like setting the closing gauge for the master gate a little past the normal close position. I assume this is to put extra pressure on the locking mechanism so that the bar will actually go under the clasp and lock in position. But it also makes the gate bow out a little. Any attempt to get that bow to go away results in no locking of the mechanism. And the piece that holds the bar that is the receiving mechanism for the lock has to be put in the exact right position. But there is no explanation of what that position is other than to make it level with the other piece. But it's position to the right or left is just as important. The little rod is not set in place, it moves a bit and so it can be attached where it will receive the other piece of the lock when the gate closes, but won't latch. Or it can be attached where it latches, but then there's so much pressure on it that it won't unlatch. This was, by far, the most difficult, arduous part of the process of installing the gate openers. At one point, I was despairing of ever getting to be able to actually use the gate opener because without a lock I can't let the dogs out and so I would end up having to use the slide gate I've been getting out to open every time I've left the house for the last 28 years. It is now latching and it has worked for several days, locking and unlocking each time without fail, so I am tentatively excited that I might have it all finished. However, the master gate does press out a little past the close spot, and I worry that there is pressure being put on the gate opener because of that, that will wear it out faster than normal. But, fingers crossed, it will have a long life. My only request is that the instructions would be a little better at explaining where each piece should go to work optimally. EDIT: Well I've had this for a while. I bought a gate stopper that goes into the driveway and that really helped with the gate. They do suggest that in the instructions. It has mostly worked since. However, if it is relatively windy the pressure against the gate seems to make it stop working. I am considering putting in a drop rod that I can engage during windstorms to take the pressure off the lock. The other issue is when the temperature dropped the lock froze and I was locked in for a bit. Even the key wouldn't unlock it. The openers were working fine in the cold weather. It was only the lock that had a problem. So, I would say that the lock mechanism is iffy for places that have many days below freezing. Luckily I live in a place where that's pretty rare.

Sturdy and works well
Heavy duty and works great. You do have to make sure it is aligned perfectly to close (as expected). We welded it to our metal gate which works well. Also, you can hear it latch and unlatch so I feel like I know it definitely locked! Very good product for the price.

Nice sturdy electronic gate lock
Great accessory for TOPENS XD851, essential accessory for large single gate in the closed mode. Easy to install. Activates for 4s before the gate opens. The cable provided is a little short for 16ft gates and needs to be extended, a simple fix.

Works great and easy to install

Das Torschloss ist im Aussenbereich wenig geeignet. Es rostet und der Mechanismus klemmt dann. Für Aussenteile sollte man doch bessere Materialien verwenden.

I bought the ET24 electric gate lock along with the AT1202 dual gate opener on a recommendation from a friend. I decided to make the driveway gates myself. Without waffling on about it, all I can say is it's really good and secure. SO easy to install, The lock works so easily and yet is very secure. I had a question about the locking key and the customer services were fantastic, quick reply, willing to resolve to any questions. When installing, follow the instructions and you can't go wrong. A good buy.

This locking mechanism is fantastic. We live remotely, so there is zero option of having an unlocked gate. Works flawlessly with a click of a button every time. Spouse easily added it to the gate brain box. I'm not technically inclined so I would have been lost. Below is the review for the whole electric gate system: We installed in Apr of 2024. We live remotely and not having a gate was not an option. After months of unlocking and unchaining the gate, we went with this option. The instructions were overwhelming to me, but my spouse (mechanic in his 30s) had no problem with it. We opted for 2 large AGM batteries and the 3 panel solar kit because we are completely off the grid, and need to count on the gate opening every time. It has not let us down. We have not tried the keypads yet, we exclusively use the remotes. The only hiccup, is we did not know how heavy the gate was (we did not purchase or install it). Based on the cylinder safety tripping, it seem our gate needs to be on ball bearings, which they do clearly state in the manual. We will be installing those when we can. The workaround is restarting the gate exactly where it stopped and it pulls open just fine. We could not live without this unit, and we hope it lasts a while. The build quality seems good but the plastic cylinder ends so concern me in terms of longevity. I think the value for money is there if we get 5 years of it, and I don't feel this item was cheap, but it could be in comparison to other units (I didn't do much shopping around.

Fácil de montar. Lo instalé en una puerta automatizada para que nadie pudiera forzar los brazos de apertura desde fuera. No ha fallado nunca.
