Broke at 50lb.
Less than a year after buying it, using it less than once a week, it snapped when I was at full draw on my 50lb bow.Up until that point, I had been quite happy with it.Great idea, but the plastic simply doesn't seem to be up to the task of repeatedly taking the strain, as required in an archery aid.If there were to be an up-rated version, I might consider using it again, but unless it's metal, I'm not convinced by the claim of 88 lb.

Simple, and Perfect!
Loved it the first time I used it!I have only one comment, the cord supplied for the wrist lanyard is quite stiff, no doubt it will soften, with time, and use, but I'm too impatient for that! So I swapped it for a flat suede leather thong that is much softer! I also added a "bead" to act as a slider for ease of tightening around the wrist,But, that said, this was just personal preference... the Release/Trigger is perfect in operation, just as it is!We archers just love to fiddle and adapt our gear!I use this with a Chinese made Mongol horse bow, shot bare bow, with bamboo arrows. A far cry from the Bear Starfire Compound, and Failsafe release, that I used to shoot in my GNAS Coaching days, back in the 80's!

Owing to an arm injury I can't use the mediterranean draw & keep my elbow in line with the arrow but I'm able to do so with my palm facing the ground. I tried using mongolian thumb rings but these were very uncomfortable & required shooting the arrow on the reverse side of the bow.The Raven Bow Trigger is a superb bit of kit & has allowed me to almost restore my lost accuracy/power. I'm now also able to draw to my nock point with both my 45lb mongolian horsebow & my 40lb english longbow. This is something which I haven't been able to do for some years.

Super Product
Super product. Takes the strain from fingers and works. Better than mechanical release as no parts to fail. I fitted a paracord wrist lanyard from ebay and fantastic as all strain goes onto wrist. So good i am buying spare one.
