Can this be used on the soles of feet for running a marathon? Thanks

Unsure really. Sweat coming from the feet would affect the adhesiveness' of it. Always used it for legs, for a marathon would better having really good trainers and socks.

Is it water proof? And do they come in strips or do you have to cut them to your required size?

It's not waterproof, but mine will stay on quite well, even with bath or showers, for at least 4-5 days. It does start peeling at the ends after a few days. It comes in a roll & you cut it to size 😀

On the size that says 2inches x16.4. What is the 16.4 measured in?

It's how they write 500mm or 1/2 Meter when they do not have a metric education and were not part of the British Empire
